Deal? Deal...
Hey dude, what do you think about the setup? The cabinet! What do you think? Like it?Quote:

Turtle how many growrooms/cabinets do you have?
Oh I got your invite cant wait to bangout
Yeah Dr. Kaze, I close the 1st door (the cabinet's), and then I close the actual closet sliding door.Quote:

So nothing, I'm going to buy some 1"x2" wood and build those frames... it's going to end up super!
As to the crate, yeah, I know. But I was thinking what to do, and I saw an idea in Trichome Creator's "Professional Growroom Pictures" thread... somebody (don't remember who) used a 6" PVC pipe with cuts on its side to make a base that you can move up/down. I think I'll do something like that.
What up Buck?!! :DQuote:

As to Halo... ohhhhhh yeaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!! This shit is going to be FUN!!!! :)

Slight change of topic:::
I was reading over in OverGrow.com some threads... I searched for "fog" and a lot of threads came up. Shitloads of them.
So I started reading and sifting through them, and the most interesting one was a guy that used a Shira [?] fogger... everyone else was making hop-scotch setups with Walgreens humidifiers.
Problems they encountered: crust/slime on the fogger heads, malfunctioning of the heads, fog was "hot", too much noise, not enough fog, etc.
Then, what most impressed me was the Shira fogger... that fucking thing costs like $700!!! And that's the singled-head model! The 6 head model costs like $2,000 !!!!
In addition, they guy using the Shira had it break down a couple of times... that SUCKS.
I think I've got a couple of their problems nailed down:
Slime/cleaning: The NutraMist has Teflon coated heads... :) Cleaning needs to be done once a months (per manufacturer's recommendations). The Shira guy was cleaning about twice a week!
Not enough fog: I turned my system ON... trust me, plenty of "enough fog".
Malfunctioning: It can happen, but I doubt it. Like I said, the NutraMist is a very well thought out piece of engineering work.
Hot fog: Walgreens humidifiers... not the NutraMist. Cool fog...
Of interest, was that the guy had runnning a hybrid "aero" hydro setup and pumping fog into the growing chamber... but, his $700 fogger broke down a couple of times.
He did notice that the plants had major improvements with the fog turned ON. And he had some really nice, bushy and "spongy"-looking roots.
Ahhhh.... that's it... later guys,

Hello guys,
I just received my X10 timers... I'm still in need of receiving the X10 controller.
Anyways, I wanted to wire the timers for the 600W HPS and the 400W MH. I've got one timer for each... they're rated for 15Amps. I've always done my electrical stuff my self and never had any problems... but I just wanted to have input from you guys...
Ok, I'm uploading a picture of the timer and its instructions... they're readable. I want to make sure I do this right.
I'm thinking of taking a plug (3-prong) and buying some 12AWG wire (the same as the timer's). Then, connecting my 3-prong plug as usuall... ok, now my question(s)...
The white cable, neutral, ok, that's the third prong (the round one).
The black cable, that goes to which "blade" of the prong?
Then (please correct me if I'm wrong), I connect the blue cable to the cable going to the ballast's plug.
Then, the ballast's plug, has one cable that goes from itself to the "wall's 3-prong plug"... without connecting to the X10 timer...
Am I right? I'll post pictures when I actually do it... but I need to buy some materials before I do it. I need cables (12AWG and 18AWG), 2x 3-prong females, 2x 3-prong males, shrink wrap (optional).
Thanks for the input and help,

Ok, timers all all ready to go. :) Thanks Zandor for the help.
Interesting side-note: My temperatures during the "day" are lower (colder) than the temperatures during the "night".
Reason for this being that I've got my plants setup to have their 6 hours of darkness during the 11am to 5pm hours... because that's the hottest part of the day.
So, I shut them off @ about 11am, and I stop intaking "hot" air from outside. When the temperatures go down (about 4:30 - 5pm) I re-light my growroom.
Because of this, I've seen in the early morning (6am) that my temperatures go down to about 77F or maybe even 72F. During the "dark" period of my plants, the temperature might be hovering around 85F.
I realize it should be the other way around, but I just wanted to make a footnote here. I'll use this thread in the future as my refference.
Over and out,

Hello,
Bumpy question: I plan on using a RO+DI (Reverse Osmosis + De Ionized) water filter for the grow... Can I use the 3-part GH nutes and GO? Or should I add CalMag or some other product?
Thank Y O U :),
