scarlet, I was weary of getting too much of it on me and didn't pay close attention to the undersides, but I doused the plants and sprayed a good layer on top of the soil. They were dripping good, and I would hope that any insect fucker that's in there is now dead or will soon be..stuff's still on the leaves after it's dried out..gives it a shiny look kinda..I'm hoping it'll go away? thanks..Quote:

One thing I can say definatelt about the blueberry strain is if there are any spidermites within the atmosphere, they will find the blueberry. One grow 5 years ago and one just a couple months ago both produced spidermites, both dutch passion.I get them occasionally not really very often, this time I had 4 strains going and only blueberry was affected first.I was wondering about it,did a google check, verified it is indeed a mite fuckfest.I keep my room clean to folks it just happens with the strain so much more often then with others.Of course a no pest strip and the problem is history in 48 hours normally
I haven't scrutinized to search for them...but I've looked over them rather thoroughly..and it seems like they're gone...if not in a couple weeks I'll spray down again..and might even do it for the hell of it..don't want bugs fucking with my flowers.
I didnt read the whole thread man just the first couple pages, you'll know by the tiny whitish dots they leave on the leaves when they suck the moisture out.If you have a scope check on the underside of the leaves along the main vein,if you have spidermites you will see eggs there
I really like the log, markass. Hope you get your spidermite problem worked out.
 Bree
Bree, I believe all of them to be gone...I've inspected a couple of the undersides of leaves...no eggs or anything of sort visible..I think I'm good. Really gave me a scare..nothing like some fucking pests to ruin all my hard work..Quote:

if you're talking about the one with the CFL in it right there...it's a clamp light with the reflector removed. You can get them for around $10 or so at a hardware store probably..Quote:

The most destructive little bastards I have ever seen. And the little fuckers come back EVERY year. 5 years in a row. But no, I'm not bitter.
I live in fear for my indoor grow but haven't seen them yet...knock on wood.
Go get 'em Markass!
pics...showing either my N deficiency or problem with PH..or both :( and some of my weird burns...I've stepped up the nutes a bit and am thinking that may be it...but WTF...leaves are still yellowing..
some more..
Can you check your ph? And MA...this probably a stupid question but to cover all bases....you aren't getting those leaves wet with the hps on them are you? Even the bug spray should be put on away from direct light.....you probably knew this but just want to make sure.
Umm...actually been meaning to go to the store and get a fish tank ph thingy...thanks to crispi for that one.. unfortunately no drainage holes..so I can't test runoff..but I will be getting to that as quickly as I can..Quote:

weedhound, don't know if I left rep message or not to you...but thanks bunches for helping me out..you really have no idea how much it helps me.:stoned:
Good, didn't think you were getting leaves wet; just trying to cover. How do you get by without drainage holes?
As Crispi so wisely said, you can use fish ph testers...pretty cheap; kind of a hassle but accurate; at least my fish think so.
Happy to help you out.....what goes around comes around. ;)
Thanks...no drainage holes...well, over 2 1/2 days in my closet, the 16 ounces of water my girls each get is mostly gone...Past two grows I have given about the same water and I've never had problems with excessive water remaining in the buckets.Quote:

Cool, thanks for the link.
I wonder if I can find some anywhere around here.
if you've got a head shop near you, I'm sure they'll have some for youQuote:

Nice grow dude! I figure this is the right thread to post my question.. Does blueberry smell like blueberrys? or does it smell a lot like marijuana. I wanna grow this strain if it has a low-ish marijuana oder.
as in...checking my ph?Quote:

For the growing plants, I couldn't tell you. I can tell you what these three smell like right now...my closet door's cracked open several inches to allow free air movement into my closet and my entire room smells of a skunk..(a very good smell to me though)Quote:

The more of a smell that I'm dealing with, the more potent and better my buds are going to be. To grow something that isn't much of a smelly strain I think would give me weak smelling buds in the end. I want something that's going to pop my top when I open the jar and get a whif of it...As for the rest of the house, no...the smell mainly stays in my room as my door is shut most of the time.
here are the girls this morning...
No, as in running a bunch of water through your pots to flush out excess salts and ickies. 3 to 1 ratio. For every 1 gallon of soil, run 3 gallons of water through the pot.Quote:

Thanks dude I totally agree! I would love to grow a really skunky strain but its just not possible where I live. Is your only ventilation the door being open? thats more than likely all I will have too with a fan blowing inside the cab!Quote:

He said I may be able to get some of the soil out and make some muddy water to test..I was thinking the same thing..before leaves have yellowed and stuff but I can't recall them looking like this. Also from what I understand PH can be easily corrected with a couple common household items?Quote:

I'm going to halt the nutes with every feeding and just give them a stronger dose..probably set it up at once a week.
First pic is of a plant that seems to actually maybe have a N def? second and third are weird maybe nute burns or something? those are the spots that are randomly on leaves...some on tips some on just the sides of leaves..I'm thinking over-nute but leme know what you think:stoned:
