wootles, the Ninja is back on the road... watch out New England, the Queen Bee is on the loose!!!!
None so far for me. I have to work out of town a bit so when I get home I like to ride locally. There will be a run for Cancer in my ex's honor again this August. North Shore area of Boston. I'll be there with my daughter. Today I'll just head out to lunch later this afternoon. Probably take 75 miles to decide on a spot for a samich and beer. <G>

Sounds like a plan Shov... sammich n brewski... it's a good excuse for a ride!
One of these days we'll hook up!
Yup, If I ever ride down south I'll shout out.
I'm going to Winthrop Ma. on Tues (truckin') to move my daughter from Shrewsbury to Chelsea on Wed. I'll hang out a few days to make sure she settles in.

Oh crap, i wasted a post. Woops. Well, i once had a 250CC dirt bike, cant even remember the make. Went good though, very nice over jumps. I used to take it down the BMX track and wack it about their over all the jumps. And i took it through all the fields near me. LOL. I was a nutter, but i only fell off once. Then i took the engine off and got a new once, same CC, put all that back in, and that all worked fine and i was riding about and as i was stopped i met someone in a feild next to a train track and he offered to buy it, and he gave me £500 for it so i ended up selling it. I kept the helmet though, as a reminder. It's an old helmet now though. It's been dropped so many times i wouldnt trust it.
Not so strange when you think about it. We are talking about "New England". Six little states in the northeast corner of USA.
I've been dropped a lot too.

Massachusetts is full of place-names (and stodgy Puritanical attitudes, lol) from the original English folk who settled here way back when... That, and entirely unpronounceable Native American place-names by which you can easily tell the tourists apart- they tend to mangle them lol!
Beautiful sunny day.........time for me to ride!
As always.....
Have a good one!
CRF450R
Gaot caught in my first t'storm so far this season. About a half hour out from the hut it came down in buckets! When I got home, I showered, dried up and laid down to listen to the Sox game.
I hosed the dirt and mud of the scooter and ready to try it again. (t'storms still in the forcast)

My mom has an '06 Suzuki GSXR...I worry about her alot, mostly b/c we live in Atlanta, so it's really busy and there are alot of ignorant drivers. But she's been riding since she was a teen, so she knows what she's doing.
She's been trying to get me to buy one, but then, of course, my husband would want one, and that's not gonna happen (then I'd worry about both of 'um!) She's so cute on it though...she's 5'3 and very petite...with pink leathers!...I wish I had that pic on my computer...maybe I can find one...:D
I ride a Honda Shadow

allright!
I just got on this site today and so far I am glad!!
I ride too, but Im much more of a fan of sport bikes (crotch rockets) then cruisers. I just bought my first bike this may and I love it!
Its a NiNjA 600
People told me it was too big for a girl my size, everyone told me to get a 250 or I would regret it, and so far my only regret is not going bigger then 600!!
I should have gotten the 750 at least... There is always next year tho!

haha, i'm hugely against blinged out sportbikes. to me, that bike is quite hideous. i wouldnt ride it. chrome and all that shit is exactly the opposite of what sportbikes were made for. i think sporbikes should have fairly simple paint, little/no metal flake, and minimal stickers. that is just my taste. they were made to go fast, not look like a harley (dont take that wrong, i like harleys :) ).
to me, a nice paint job on a sportbike is simple and clean, with enough different colors/designs to just break up the lines. bikes like the one above just have too much shit for me, i think it's unsportbike-like to throw a whole shit ton of money into stuff that doesnt make you faster. i like to ride, not clean and stare :)

This is my mom. I think it's cool that she rides. She's really into it to:)
It's taken me a year to get my gf to get on the bike with me and now she loves it ,I still doubt she will ever ride one herself as she is scared of the traffic but at least she can enjoy the sensation of freedom you can only get from a bike.
some nice posts here. Cool bikes and peeps.
Wonderful warm weather still. I'm riding everyday except my ol had a hip operation and I've ben watching over her a lot. I'll post a ride photo sometime soon.

I used to live in Holland and during the winter I rode to work one evening (I was working nights for Heineken) and it was -21 degrees, only about 12 miles but man was it cold.
The worst was when I was doing my forklift licence and I had to ride about 30 miles , it was -15 , blowing a gale and sleating all day long , I was leaning the bike just to go in a straight line.
Every time I stopped I was putting my hands on the engine block to stop them from freezing off , I never felt so glad to see the end of a journey , I've covered a couple of hundred miles in one day before but that was nothing compared to those few miles in such shitty conditions , after that nothing stops me riding.
