Got a batch in the oven right now. This will actually be my first time eating weed.
I made two with nutella, and two with a combination of pb and nutella :)
I'm a little nervous because my oven has a tendency to burn cookies, but hopefully these will make it out alive.
Out of crackers and spreads here, so I tried putting a bowl's worth in a shot glass, covering it with olive oil and following all the other directions with the foil and everything else.
I just finished and threw it down, and it made me gag but we'll see if it works. Hardly any smell at all in the house until I opened the foil, and even then it wasn't recognizable.
That's... disgusting. I hope you get a really kickin high out of it, because you deserve it after doing a shot of oil :jointsmile:Quote:

Well, my crackers didn't really work out.
I followed the recipe quite painstakingly, and made 4. I ate two, then an hour later wasn't feeling much, so I ate the other two. Some time later I felt a slight pleasant sensation throughout most of my body, but it didn't last long.
I'm assuming that I just didn't use enough weed.
just made one cracker with like .2 of a gram... i hope it hits me... i used dank weed tho... so think ill catch a buzz in 30 mins or so? i mean a lil tiny bud of this stuff gets me buzzed when i smoke it

well actually i put more than .2 .. typing .2 was a mistake ... it was pretty much a awhole gram almost... and i had a big cracker lol.. anyways so i cooked it the way u said and ate it and it hit me.... for like 3 or 4 hours... they creep on u very sneaky... right when u think there not gonna work... then all of a sudden , click! ,,,lol nice recipie man
i was reading the ingredients on the peanut butter and the organic stuff has no added oils, the regular has a bunch more fat. read the nutrition facts!
main ingredient in both: roasted peanuts.

i think hydrogenated oil or non-hydrogenated oil i dont know man. i use nutella.

does it work in a microwave? I would do it in an oven but i would probably mess it up and it would smell up my house. How much weed should you use?

Update: This is MUCH more successful than the original techniques:
Mix the weed with the peanut butter in a bowl, before spreading
Instead of trying to spread the peanut butter, then sprinkling the weed on top, just mix it with the peanut butter. The resulting firecrackers are more potent. To scrape it out, use a spatula, it gets every crumb of weed.
ok im sorry if im being repetetive, but i just read thru this ENTIRE thread and really wanna make these so i wanna make sure i do them right.
all i wanna know is how much weed to use.
i usually smoke out of a bong...2 hits gets me fairly high, 1/4 -1/2 of a bowl gets me almost too high.
my weed is super dank.

Alot more than you'd think. I stopped making these cause they were so damn expensive.
Basically, 1 gram in a firecracker (done properly) can get you just as high, or even more, than smoked. However, pot consumed by ingestion rather than smoking lasts much longer, so your high is more evenly distributed by time vs intensity.
Smoking the same amount of weed can get you higher, just not for very long compared to eating it.
Dutch.lover do not go over a bowl! From what you have said, I predict that being a good heavy dose on one firecracker. One bowl is like .25 grams, is that right?
Just remember to have all the weed covered in peanut butter and use the right type!
Or just mix the weed and the PB together, then spread said mix on the crackers.... much easier...Quote:

Libella only if you overcook it. As far as I'm concerned eating just plain knocks the socks off smoking but the folks above make a good point.....you need more weed to start with and the high takes a while to kick in. Personally I have never gotten more high from smoking than eating....that's just me....but there isn't any way I could smoke or vape a gram at once....but I sure can eat one!!:D
I'm T+3:00 hrs on these and i'm feeling pretty damn good. i followed the recipe to a T ... use STONED WHEAT THINS & LAURA SCUDDER natural peanut butter ... they're the best! Did about half a g of fresh homegrown in 2-3 tbsps of pb. made three sandwiches, ate them all. ground cannabis in coffee grinder and mixed w/pb beforehand.
It's very mellow and long lasting ... took about 1.5 hrs to kick in, hasn't faded since then, but has gotten stronger.
There's some trippy shit on animal planet right now. Appears to be 3 toed sloths.
I think overcooking can destroy the peanut butter, and the THC in it.
Do i wrap the entire batch in one big sheet of tin foil and place it directly on the oven rack or individually wrap the crackers and put them on a pan?
If you plan on eating them all at once, doesn't matter. If you plan on eating one today, one tomorrow, then individually wrap them.Quote:

Hmm whats the fat content of nutella vs peanut butter? As far as I know, nutella has less fat per 100g than PB, making it less effective for firecrackers.Quote:

out of penut butter and nutella here, if I use cake frosting mixed with butter, will that have similar effects?
I'm trying this experiment, except I made some modifications to it.
I took two crackers similar to Ritz, that came in a Tuna Lunch Kit, it's all I had as far as crackers go. I then put some Nutella on each cracker. I have 9 joints left, out of all my weed, which I pre-rolled yesterday, so instead of ripping apart a joint, I used kief from my grinder. I used the amount of a full bowl of kief, pressed down into the bowl. I completely saturated the nutella with kief. I then stuck the other cracker on it, and twisted it, to smear it around inside. I then wrapped it in aluminum foil, and put it in the oven, which was preset at 320. I didn't microwave it, since I'm using kief, not weed. It's got about 10 minutes left until it's done.
I smoke around 5 joints rolled in a 78mm rolling machine, so they are fat and perfectly rolled. So far, I've had 3 today, but I'm not really high right now. So, I'm skeptical if I'll feel strong effects. Hopefully I will, because I plan on smoking a joint right as I eat my firecracker, so I'll be high, while I wait two hours for the firecracker to kick in (by then, my joint high will be subsiding).
I'll post an update, as far as how it went, whenever it works (if it does).

Today I smoked a j and rode my bicycle to vons and got organic p.b. I'm putting my crackers in when my parent's meatloaf is done..
Ok i like these firecrackers but i just kept it simple and made an oldfashioned pb&j sandwich. No cooking or none of that good stuff and i was stoned out of my mind. My cousin and I were both like fuck the firecrackers,lol. Not dissing them because they work well too but if you just want a fast stoney snack just grind up your pot mix it with the pb and put it on bread i bet you'll be stoned out of your mind. This way also theirs no way of burning and fucking up; your pot! Try it and tell me what you think.
