For me it is a very touchy subject. On one hand I feel like finding a patch of marijuana growing and stealing it is a shitty thing to do. However good the health of the plants is, someone took the time and effort to get their plants going somewhere. Its the part about the plants just being "somewhere" that is what gives marijuana growers a bad reputation. Having even 1 plant in a spot that an inexperienced grower thinks is "cool" to grow in could turn bad if some sort of forest crew was called by city officials to do work in that area. Not everyone thinks out their spots well enough and thats what bugs me. Before you know it, after a few weeks the police have been notified and start monitoroing areas nearby (after surveilencing the one they already found and bust the poor guy who tried to grow some ganj.". Then, some deserving experienced growers with plants in a spot which would have otherwise been overlooked gets busted because their stinky ass harvest set off the newely assigned drug dog patrol squad. I say if you are able to come across a marijuana plot while casually walking through the woods on your own, while not deliberately looking for marijuana plants (which I would never do and i hope no one would ever do) or walking in a deep remote area of the woods, then it is more than likely that the wrong people could find it. You'd be doing the pot growing community a favor by taking the poorly located plants before the the wrong people do find it and set off red flags for pot growing in the area, then get undeserving well thought out grow operations busted due to increased law enforcement precautions. Thats just my two cents, I guess it would have to depend on my mood and bud situation with what I do too. If I find someones grow in a fucking retarded place but I'm in a good mood I'll leave it unscathed and maybe even water them for them. But if I find a well located healthy grow op which assholes would be dieing to steal while on an extensive nature walk, I'd look at the beautiful plants, admire the growers work, and continue on my way.

I have had my outdoors stolen before ...the thing that bugged me most is they didnt leave me any..if someone is able to find it, then i dont mind them takin a nugg or two.....but please remember to leave a few nuggs for the person who grew them.

i own a few acers part wooded n part old feilds n ive grown for years in my yard a few years ago my plants were stolen the plants were 2 til harvest time i posted the pix on this site n the next day they were gone all except 2 but now i wont post any more pix untill after harvest unless theres a problem

my friend grew 1 female plant in his yard all season. it was about 8 foot tall. his bastard neighbors ripped them off one night and they probably lost 1.5 pounds :(

now if the ganja was growing on my property and somebody trespassed to steal my marijuana, i'd probably shoot them till they aren't moving anymore (or ever again!!) and it would be my right. that's attempted burglary and it would probably hold up in court (i'm no lawyer though).

I have stumbled across a few outdoor patches NEVER ever took a thing just checkd it out from a distance and got the hell outa there... YOU never know.. I have heard of some pretty sick stuff.. "grenade attached to string" shotgun mounted at knee level things of that nature are not uncommon here in BC... There are just soo many outdoor crops out there and people will goto whatever extent to protect there plants and yes this means blowing your legs off... or even killing you.. I find this extreme and just overkill but some have been burnt too many times and feel payback is in order. Never know with people out there.... There are alot of people who grow pot just for money and couldnt care less about anything else.

I can not stand Theifs and Liars and they go Hand and Hand. They should all DIE... Well hope the 2008 Season goes Great for all the Gorillas on CanCom... Best bet is to leave em be and forget you ever saw them. If you happen to stumble upon a LARGE crop, turn 180 degrees and get far far away.

Watch for booby traps, armed guards. Respect private property.

OK My friend and I's older brother showed us this field of wild cannabis, and its some pretty good stuff! Super SEEDY but considering how much seeds it was its still stronger then schwag + we can cure it and it doesnt get all harsh and chesty, its about the size of a large city block filled with 10 footer trees, and this stuff has been growing there for over 20+ years, and he said it still smells *PINE SAP Yay..* and tastes exactly the same... perhaps some hippy abandoned his crop and it keeps growin back? The cops have known for years, but they chop it down every year, late of course... and then it just grows back

I actually found plantation in the wild three years in a row (2005-2007). All in the radium of 1 km. At least twice there must have been the same person growing them.
1. time i found them it was a really nice plantation of 16 plants. Found them 2 months before harvest time. I was a little scared, not knowing to whom they might belong. Then i was facing a moral dilemma for a month and then i let them be.

2. time i was still under influence of the former year so i searched the near area in the time of harvest, found 4 small plants and let them beacause there's really no sense to rob a guy for less than 100 g, for which he take care for 5 months. Obviously he wasnt some kind of hot shot.

3. time found plantation of 20 plants also about 2 months before harvest. I was seriously considering taking some of them. Came in the time of the harvest to take a look and there was water in the near area so i should have had boots to cross it, but i didnt, so i didnt come back.

Funny thing, 1st and 3rd time i found them looking for a place to grow my own and every time i suspected i am up to something few meters before i laid my eyes on them. My heart started beating harder when i was punching through the bushes, i just knew it :)

I dont regret not taking them and i think any grower shouldnt. Maybe thats why i've the fortune that no one else is fucking with my plants. Its really a special feeling when i plant them and out of caution leave them for a month or more, come back and see how big, nice and smelly they've become. Untouched.

Stealing plants is flat out wrong have it happen to you one time and you'll know what it's like. I would have to say its one of the worst feelings. I lost my plants the day be4 harvest this year and I was not happy.

round my area people pay 60 quid just for a pot with a few leaves cummin out the soil ...... so im guessin if how much would someone pay for a plant thats flowering ...... me personaly i cannot say no to free weed if im not stealing it i mean cmon if its in a pulic area there is the risk anyways

simply for these reasons:

1. It could well be a setup, monitored by police
2. Assume someone does it to you, how would u feel then? Don't do to others what u don't like others do to u (I know bible says something along these lines, but this is coming from common sense)
3. You may touch some gang's bread n butter n they may find out, then u gotta run for your life for 'a lil free weed'
4. Karma will always return the favor, in weird forms sometimes, u take it and for some reason u may just get pulled over on that specific trip, there is ALWAYS A PAYBACK, KARMA will always complete the equation
