I can't eat enough of them. I have been eating tomatoes about 5 days per week. My fridge and kitchen counter are still full of them. And my freezer is full of them for sauce. The plants are still putting out new flowers and fruit even though we've been in the 40's this week. Cherokee Purple worked out pretty good for me this season. I haven't bothered to pick the cherry tomatoes for a while now. Someone else has been munching on them cause I can see the byte marks on them. Tomatoes and Cannabis are very similar to grow. I even used my tomato fertilizer on these plants. If you were referring to my weed plant, forget about my tomato rant. Thanks for stopping by. :thumbsup:

For those of you who are afraid to remove yellow leaves from your plants, I just wanted to share that I removed healthy green leaves to allow more light to penetrate the buds growing in the center. See the 3 pics a few posts up. I left the lower leaves that are not blocking any buds and the upper leaves as well for food production. This way I'll encourage more bud growth in the center of the short plant. The green leaves I removed were blocking most of the buds in the center. For your information, yellow leaves don't provide the plant with any nutrients anyway, so they are only blocking light. I had to put this out there, cause the last time I suggested to remove yellow leaves that were shading bud sites to another grower, most peole were suggesting to leave them on instead.

Hey, Pass That Shit, you say you got your seeds from Nirvana. I take it you live in the US right? What did you have to do to get your seeds? I see you have to create an account with them to order them, and they want your address and stuff. Should I give them the real info? Do they ship to P.O. Boxes? Did you get yours shipped to your house? How can I get a stealth package like you talked about. Please let me know, I really want to be able to grow, and I want to start with good seed.

Merrimanmerlin, They shipped the seeds directly to my house. It's an internet transaction like any other. I don't want to give away the stealth package that they came in but I still use the gift that they sent me to hide the seeds in. I wouldn't worry about giving them your credit card and shipping info cause they would be the ones in deep shit if their company got busted. They won't give out your info. Since I only got 3 girls, I would recommend you invest in some fem seeds. :thumbsup:

Since I only have 3 females, I decided to give them some more soil depth. Since I still have enough head room and I had extra containers on hand and extra soil, I figured why not get the most bud as possible from these bitches. :dance:

You don't have to request the stealth package, they surprise you with it :)

This male is still looking healthy. We hit 34 degrees last night and it's suppose to freeze tonight. Pretty hardy plant :thumbsup:

I'm curious as to the breeder of your White Widow seeds .. I am curently growing my first set of Dutch Passion White Widow ... my plants have the wide, fat indica-type leaves, while yours looks strongly sativa ... hmmm ... do you know the source of yours ? ... thx :smokin:

They're looking good. :thumbsup: Hard to estimate yield. Feeding and lighting and many other things affect the amount of growth. I'm curious to how much my plant will yield as well. I'm just gonna have to wait and see. They suggest flowering WW for 8 weeks but I will shoot to max them out and go for the full 10 weeks flower. :pimp: How many plants do you have?

I sowed these seeds just for the hell of it. They had been sitting for almost a year and I thought they were bad. I also dropped a couple of bag seeds, so I wasn't sure if I mixed them up or not. Only one plant looked different out of the original 8. The leaves were much larger and rounder compared to the others. It sounds like from what you're saying that it's a WW :D

As far as the strain, the only thing I know is that the seeds were White Widow from Nirvana. I don't know any more. It's possible that they mixed up some different WW seeds.

This is the short plant. It's just a bit taller than the pot :D

This chick is skinny, but she has plenty of bud sites. :D

although I've smoked White Widow, and seen photos of the buds, I've never actually seen it vegging ... my Dutch Passion WWs have the fat, wide, sawtooth leaves, similar to the ones in your photos, so I was curious ... good luck with your grow :thumbsup:

That is funny, I will be missing in action starting this Friday. And unlike my last grow, I won't be racing to harvest. I started smoking all the weed right from day one after cutting it and none of it made it to the curing stage. I will try to control myself this time. ;)

Yea, I'm not in a hurry either. I mean I AM, but I have extreme patience. :D I have been so busy recently that I've been making it last a long time. I'm sure that light will work fine, but for that price you can probably do better. Insidesun.com has complete 250w MH systems at a lower price. I agree that 400w is too strong for a young plant. That's why I have a couple of cheap (6500k) CFL's from Wally World for the beginning. Then I put them under my 400w light. The problem with a 400W at the start is that to get the right temp you have to keep the light far away causing them to stretch which I don't like. With the cool CFL's, I can put the light about 1 inch from the plants which encourages more side growth. If you can't get a couple CFL's for now, move the light away so the temps are under 80. You're better off with a stretching plant than one that's suffering from heat stress. You can always chop it later if it gets too tall. Good Luck

I overlooked your country. Not sure what type of voltage you run over there, so insidesun may not carry the ones you need. Give them a look anyway. If you have access to fluoroscents, they would work good for seedlings and mothers. You can just screw them in to any light fixture. I have a 4 bulb fixture and it's plenty to start my plants with at the beginning. I just rotate them around to give them even growth. Each low watt screw in bulb gives about 3000 lumens and they only cost 2-3 US$$$$....Then I picked up a fixture for about 10US$$$$.....Low cost covers the seedling stage.....Peace

I didn't read to much of the details, but just make sure that it's a cool bulb for veg. The color temp should be high around 6500k. I'm sure it is though if they're selling it for mother plants. PEACE OUT!!! :pimp:

Keep up the good work, things look good. I also rushed my first grow but I ended with half in the curing jars. got rid of alittle, and I must say that the finished product was 500 times better or more. Will be starting this weekend with my second grow. Just gotta finish my sprout room then work on the flower room. and all this is in my closet. I bought better nutes and will use a different soil.

I intentionally over fed them to see if it helps get BIGGER BUDS. I decided to give them my veg mix again. It includes a little big bloom.
