Hey Khan, for your first time this is not bad.
Ice is a very reliable strain for a start, and it has such a nice smoke.
Cheers mate, and dont forget to stay ontop of that pruning ;).
p.s. you could probably have a very badass monthly cycle of plants if you wanted to clone and use as mother in different room.

Who is the breeder of the ICE?
It looks like it's going to get crowded in there very soon. Are you going to do a SCROG? If not, I'd suggest next time to only grow 1 or 2 plants. Sometimes having many plants in a small space will actually hurt your total yield, compared to only growing a couple of plants in the same size space.
In any event, your plants look great! Keep up the good work. You are going to be amazed by the wonders of growing your own weed.
whats up Khan, i am growing ice 2000 in soil now. out of all my different plants ( aurora indica, k2, nebula) ice 2000 is growing the best.

Damn looks like I got a male, it's the only one that's got cahoonas so I'm pretty sure it's a male. It's got balls where as the others have the white hairs starting.
Since it's an NFT system should I rip it out of there? The roots must be all entagled in there?
Or should I remove the balls from the plant? I read that somewhere too....

Just take a big pair of snips and chomp it off right above top of system...no harm will come if you leaves the roots entangled in with the other females for the rest of your grow.Quote:

Snipped it just above the bottom of the stem and took it out. It was in very early stages just very small balls appeared overnight so no damage done hopefully.
More room now for surrounding plants at least, plenty of new budding branches tookup the space in no-time.
Carefully checked everyone of the others, all the rest are female at least.

It did say that Ice is 90% stable female, I suppose with 12 plants I was due 1 male plant. :(

I agree with Krusty though. You ought to consider putting a screen in there next time. I think you could increase your yield.

khan hope you dont mind me sharing my ice 2000 grow with you on your thread. just tied it down lastnight. 14 shoots are getting direct light now. hope its a female cause it will be some major bud sites.
Not at all bro, your stems are looking booming, better than mine were at that age. Good looking leaves too.
Ice seems to produce ALOT of budding branches, strong ones too. I wish I had a good digital picture i'll get hold of one this week if I can.
Just done alot of pruning again yesterday, the buds are starting to form well now there are SOOOO many of them, the smell is unbelievable!!
In 2 days time I'm due to put in the PK 13-14 and canna's Boost Accelerator, i've been offered the use of a 1000w HPS too do you think that would be a good time to put the light in?
My plants are getting really tall, they're getting a little bit of burn where the plants are condensating. I've put the light up but it wont go much further up the tent......

Well they're as tall as they're going to get. Good thick stems and lots of flowers forming.
I've been tiying the leaves down and pruning where necessary to make sure enough light gets into the middle. Will be putting the 1k HPS this week sometime.
I dont have a good enough camera to get good pictures in at the moment, pics to follow soon.

Im gonna start a NFT System off in a couple of months with just two to four plants and your thread is great man, its good too see constant pics throughout the grow cycle.
Couple of questions
Have u noticed the amount of electricity rise?
Did u start of i rockwool or other medium?

Not really much rise in electricity. I hear the light is the same as a computer system anyway. I've tried to keep all other lights off now when i used to just leave them on everywhere so its prob. made me more economical :)
I planted the seeds in small rockwool tabs which I then put straight into the larger rockwool cubes when the roots started coming through.
Just make sure you take your time and plan everything out, starting low and increasing is good moto when it comes to nutrients etc.

killer khan you got it going on bro, keep up thee good work. if your plants are getting to close to the light , just bend her. i remember when i was growing the big bud, i couldnt raise the light anymore and it was 6ft. so i just bent her to get more time. but over time she just grew past the lights lol. had to add 125w cfl in there as well.

Where did u get your tent? and what size is it?
I notice you have your carbon filter on the inside. I've seen others have it on the outside, which is right?
Have you had any problems with the lovely smell escaping and letting neighbours know of your grow?? I only ask this as im in the top flat of three flats and im planning on using the loft which i only have access to.
Could you give me a list of nutrients you used and maybe a chart or explanation showing nutrient quantities against time and dosage?
Are any of your flowers showing bud yet? and how much longer until harvest?

I picked the tent up in a local hydroponics shop, it's about 4ft x 4ft. I think im right having the filter inside the tent, certainly been no smells outside it ;)
I used Canna products mostly, there are certain ones for vegative, flowering etc. The only other products i've used are liquid oxygen and PK 13-14.
Make sure you get good digital PH and CF testers, take things slowly.

Yeah thats a nice looking ICE grow you have going there. Fantastic plant health. Bit too much of a jungle for my liking though.
Your grow was on my mind the other day. I had to wait till my plant was big enough to take a cutting. As soon as I took it, I could switch to 12/12. I was picturing it being 2 weeks older, catering for most of the stretch. Thats when I realised I had 'done a Khan'.
A week and a half on and it has gone beserk! Might have to move it to a bigger grow area. Wouldn't be a problem if I had proper lighting like you have. I have to cater for the weak penetration of CFLs.
hey khan. ive been following your grow as it is similar to the one i am going to start very soon here. im doing 6 plants hydro with a 17 gal res and 6 superskunk feminized babys.
i see no one answered your question about yield, and i think you are going to be very surprised, in my opinion your going to get alot more then 1zip per plant, im thinking like 3. oh by the way im going with a 1000 watt hps.
anyways, lookin good, how much was that tent by the way? i have been researching them a little, as i think its what i wanna do. also, how much was the carbon scrubber and how is the tent holding up those lights? well, did the tent come with any support for the lights?

The tent was about £200 I believe, the carbon filters are pretty pricey, about the same as the tent. Well worth the money mind.
The setup come with 2 elasticated pully's, which are working fine except my plants have grown to within 5" of the light.. Wish I could put it a little higher.
All in all i'm happy with the way its worked out in the tent though, seems the white walls are reflecting a good bit of energy into the centre of the grow and the temp. has been consistent in there.
Sorry about the lapse in photos all, got the camera just need the cable now lol.
Plants are looking great, the flowers are getting big and are already coated in crystals, as well as the leaves.
Would you use superthrive this late in a grow? Been using some on my clones I though it might do the ladies some good too.
killer khan whats up ? using superthrive now , wouldnt do any good now, shit your on day 22 of 12/12 and it seems as though you have everything under controll. i would use it from day 1 up until , you see flowers starting, a little after until you have temps and etc. good. after that stress shouldnt be a problem. shit i didnt have to tell you that your KILLER KHAN :thumbsup:

I don't mean to hijack but. Welcome smokin dope. You will find lots of help here in hydroland. Glad your going with the 1000 HPS just make sure you get a hortilux bulb. It is my best friend now. LOL. Hydro is fun and gives you something to do but just sit and watch soil. I have 12 plants in flower, 6 in each container. A small sea of green. I will post some pic's in a thread tonight. One out of 6 was a runt and I smoked it yesterday, damn I only have a week left on the other 5 and hope for close to a pound. The runt kicked ass. Khan please find your cable. I like your pic's, show me your crystals and I'll show you mine. LOL

Hey man. I'm using 10 gallon tubs but put 6 gallons to run on. Alternate 2 of them 6 plants each. Small sog. Man on this grow it's full of roots.
Mine's just 600w.
