This is the way I see it: We were all young newbs once and we'll all be old farts one day. Some of us are already there or close to it ;) The younger folks have a lot to offer in terms of energy and a different outlook on life. The older folks have a lot to offer in that we've lived and learned life's lessons. The younger members should realize that, as hard as it is to admit, we might know a bit more about a lot of things than they do. It comes from life, the good and the bad of it, and you'll know it all soon enough. The older folks, however, shouldn't get down on the kids for being kids. At least that's the way I see it.

Impressive string of discussions. With mj being such a universal substance a general board like this is bound to be overrun with all types. Personally, I cannot understand a lot of the younger crowd and the music they like to listen choose to listen too especially while partaking of herb, so I tune it out. Hell, in my area all of the classic rock stations are going under in favor of hip hop or pop stations it seems. Nothing against either, I just favor the older versions of both.

Haven't really read everything here, so I'm not very familiar with the baked.com(I know, do a search. I will...).

But what about another board within the board aimed toward the older crowd. On another forum I visit they have one for older stoners, though it really isn't posted in as much compared to the others, but what is there is not gangsta or illiterate. Just a thought, have no idea if it would work or not....

So does this basically mean cannabinoids kill....the "bad" brain cells? Cells that cause tumor growth?

Yeah. It's been shown to cure, at least, three types of cancer in mice.

This was what I heard back in 1999, from a rehabilitation counselor who said he was an expert on Marijuana.

Look if you don't want to deal with young people get a cafe membership. The whole credit card thing keeps the young ones away. But even in the cafe there is spam (but not near as much) so kiddo free does not necessarily mean spam free.

And yes the spam has gotten pretty damn bad....but for the most part they seem to keep it to their own or their buddies thread so I don't really sweat it.

When people spam on every thread that they are on then it's a problem.

I figure Iâ??ve already gotten my twenty dollars worth of entertainment from this site as it is. There is nothing special about café membership so I wouldnâ??t recommend getting it if your expectations are high but it does give you a place to get away.
