Nah, it isn't too bad. You break it down, its nothing but math. Applying theory when improvising can get a little rough sometimes, you know like using your dimished scales to lead your 1M7 chord into a 5M7 chord or taking your harmonic minor scale down a half step to resolve a 5M7 chord into a 1M7 chord, stuff like that.Quote:

lol nah. I kinda went above and beyond what most poeple want to learn with music, but music is kinda my life. Wake up, bong hit, practice, go to class, bong hit, practice, class, practice, then after all classes are done, many bong hits and at least 5 or 6 hours of practice. Some may find that kinda riduclous, but I find it better than writing midterms lol

Class sizes vary. Its a very common to see Med or Law students minor in music so my gen. music classes are fair sized. But on the other hand, like my Jazz Improv. Class is like 6 students, and from what I've seen(I'm only in my 2nd year) the higher Music theory classes are exetremely small, 3-5 students tops.
