It's weird 'cause my Brother is 39, doesn't smoke, but my sister is 37 and has been smoking her own life.

I think it's hot... and I continue to encourage them to do so. I have a few female friends who toke.... it's probably about 40/60 where I live (# of females that toke / # of Males that toke) so it isn't uncommon to have a few females in your smoking circle toking up with you. I think the site contains more males than females because females generally don't post on message forums, they stick with programs like AOL instant messenger or any other instant messenger program.... but that's really the only thing i can think of as to why there's many more males on this site, and I think it's wonderful that females toke.... because I know i'd get kind of sick of always being around only guys while I smoke..... and I think this was a great topic sensi :).

This is my explanation for the absence of an overpopulation of females at this site:

Most females who smoke weed are highly intelligent individuals with a heavy plate on their table and can't find time to come to forums or post in them. They are Judges, Nurses, Doctors, Lawyers, you know, plus they spend a lot of their "stoned"-time pondering thoughts of flowers and nature and the birth of things and watching them grow, and I don't know what I'm talking about.

The first person who ever gave me a smoke was a girl. and i've known lots of girls and smoked a lot of dope with them. i tend to think its something more girls grow out of than guys, if that the right way of putting it, maybe lose interest.

Girls probably feel like their lowering themselves by posting at a place like this..most chicks I know hate weed...what a horrible thing...most of the time if I'm smoking and there's a chick who knows we smoked, I won't even try to get with her..makes me look bad already..

The first time I ever smoked was with my girlfriend. The last time I smoked with someone was with a guy and his wife. 67% ratio. Maybe those are the kind of numbers you only see in America. :smokin:

it depends. there's always the possibility that even that "original" combination you "made up" could've made up by someone else and you don't know it. after all, people have been on this earth how long? is it not possible that every little thing and/or combination of things has already been done? even if not by someone in this era?

when i think of trendy, i immediately think of the peeps into hip hop.they all look the same, it's ridiculous, it looks like they came off an assembly line.

i think when you said unoriginal, you meant conformity. i agree with you on that aspect. while i never claim to be original (because i don't think it's possible) i think that everyone who tries to be different just to be different is in actuality exactly the same as everyone else, and i get annoyed by that. the hip hop kids i just get annoyed by in general, cuz i'm not particularly fond of hip hop and rap (though snoop dogg is my hero, and some catchy song i can't help but like) but then again i tend to judge people on their taste in music, and i suck for that.

snoop is the man. he got his west coast/pimp style. the hip hop kids are truly sad cuz their whole culture comes from rappers. they dont think or make decisions for themselves, its all on the rappers. they really fear individuality so they ridicule peeps for being different.

everyone's like that, to some extent, even if they don't vocalize it.

i dont know how peeps idolize celebs. i always think to myself, what are they doing for you?, they arent payin your bills and shit.

Hey, Im into hiphop and reggae in a big way and I dont talk like a rapper, dress like a rapper or do anything that would make you think I love the kind of music I do, you cant really tar everyone with the same brush.

Judging people by the music they like is stereotyping - I admit, musical taste tells you a lot about someone but dont judge their entire character on it!

i try to put the music thing behind me (i tend to date guys with taste in music is really dont share...like metal, rap, country...) and i've become more open-minded about it, but i admit that when i first meet people the first thing that runs through my mind is "what kind of music do they listen to?" but then again, i was part of the elitist los angeles music scene for the past few years, and it's had it's effect on me.

You can't tell anything about someone through the music they listen to. You can gladly tell me about me, I remember having "Christmas with the Smurfs", "REO Speedwagon", and "Journey" when I was little. The last two were my Brother's records. I grew up on Weird Al Yankovic and The Eye of the Tiger. I liked Bon Jovi and Run DMC. Then MC Hammer and Bobby Brown. Then I got into Rush. Then, by fate, Jimi Hendrix.
