You are bringing down cannabis.com to it's long and progressive, but exceedingly self destructive downfall. You have lost a lot of respect from many of the members here on cannabis.com. Sure, sooner than later, everybody's going to forget this whole incident, and on top of that, you have consolidated your position by eliminating a potential rival, that was becoming stronger and stronger dangerously right? NOT. It does not work like that.
You will see what I am talking about...for now..just sit back and watch it all happen. The spiral downward plunge of decadence needs some time to leech.

This is the crux of the matter, for those who obviously are not paying attention. I am NOT angry over the fact that Ron removed my mod powers - as I've said repeatedly, it is his board to run as he sees fit. What DOES anger me is his continuing lack of a reasonable explanation. His reasons thus far have done little to reassure me, and have, in fact, only added to the frustration. If I've mischaracterized your intentions, I apologize, but to date nothing you have said makes sense to me and in every conceivable sense, smacks of BS. I do not think asking for a clear and reasonable explanation of your action is out of line. You should be able to explain it simply and clearly, and your failure thus far to do so is a HUGE part of the problem here. I cannot fathom why you don't grasp this concept, which seems to simple to me. Regardless of what the reason actually is, I'll respect you a great deal more for providing it.

It's too bad this can't be worked out, but life is much too short and there are more important things in life to spend time on.

I'm sure Ron knows that the regular members here develop friendships and relationships of respect with the mods. I respect all of the mods, and their own different styles (When is LuLu coming back ??).

Every time BB took a public hard line, a few people complained, but there were many more of us who were quietly supporting him. If there are rules, you might as well enforce them.


Whatever the issue is, Ron probably owes BB a phone call, and an honest explanation. If not now, maybe when cool heads can prevail. I gotta believe that we're all on the same team, at least when it comes to the big picture.

Situations like this happen every day. Sometimes they get worked out, sometimes not. If it can't be worked out, try to find some common ground, shake hands and wish each other peace.

i'm in the dark too concerning this but i will add my opinion on ron only...
he has guided this site for nearly 10 years now and not only has this site grown into one of the biggest and most visited cannabis sites online but it has also split to become TWO of the largest cannabis sites around! there are no other major sites that offer the friendliness and openess we have here, which has brought up more than a couple debates between us but he knows what he's doing and i have 100% trust in his judgement. he listens to everyone here and mods always have an open line to him direct by telephone...just beware as the converstions can stretch into hours...lol!

he has a vision and it has not strayed since i have been around here for over 8 years now...what more needs to be said?

beyond that, it's between him and the beeb. imnsho, of course...

I agree that by and large, Ron has done a good job running his websites. I regret and apologize for my earlier comment to the contrary - it was said (hopefully understandably) out of anger and frustration. As for the rest, until I hear from Ron and am satisfied with his reasons for this action, I stand by my position. As it is, I've heard enough via the grapevine to convince me that there are things Ron is not saying. At this point, I'd be satisfied if he simply said "Look, I have concerns about you that I would prefer not to discuss yet."

Only time will truly tell, I suppose.

Ron cares, he apears to me to be a consumate profesional, he has a business, and his business is making this site work, which is making us comfortable. so they both care match point 1. confusion, beeble is confused, or is confused about how he could have controlled it better, which i do alot, feeling of failure over lost controll. Ron seems to be confused as to wehre he did not have the ability to contain a situation which is becoming ever more aparent where the dificiency is. match point 2. confusion, loss of controll. AUDIENCE we all listen, and were ever more excited by the conflict, the destruction, chaos and mayhem of hurt people striking out and bringing ruin to themselves and others. match point 3.

For this we are all responsible...fuck us, fuck us right in the poop chute...us aweful encouraging spectators...
