I have had many animal pets in my life from the norm like dogs and cats to the not so norm skunk and racoons all had very funny traights and personalities as fur waitin for me when my time be comin I be sure they are waitin alright be waitin fur me to drop dead in the bush and then they be waitin no longer cause it be feedin time in the bush on the bushman and what they not be eatin the little white worms be gettin the rest and in those who cunsume my flesh be also cunsumin my spirit and in them I get to live many lives as many things be a skunk foriging the forest floor or the eagle that be skimmin tree tops my choice to change eyes of many as many i have become.

I was justing havin a little fun with the management. Truth is, it must be a huge task trying to keep this site well pruned. I don't really understand the 10 minute lock rule either. I mean they say its required by law but who knows why really.
But, anyways, great to have you aboard, I am really enjoying your stories. I just bought a few acres up the mountains myself and be already seeing HUGE paw prints all around the camp site the last time we camped. I can't wait to get up there anyway. I will need satellite internet, tho. :jointsmile:

If I was looking at those scenes in person, smoking up, I would believe that someone snuck some mescaline in my bowl when I wasn't looking.

I guess I take it fur granted sometime. every now and then be steppin back and be refreshin what i got goin fur me. Yu be surroundid by this all the time be gettin use to it and start thinkin it just be another day in the BUSH. Ok pilgrems be needin some info from yu fellow growers who have ever be growin Northern Lights as i have never before.
My question be simple ifin yu dont mind answerin. I flipped these here plants on 12/12 week ago and nothin seems to be showin any signs of sex yet. My bagseed grows in the past be showin already these here NL plants be takin time is this be normal for this strain? be thankin any pilgrems be helpin me out.

These Northern Lights x Shiva males took 2 1/2 weeks to show sex. The females; maybe another 4 days...:)
I don't know why?...but everything about growing INDOORS seems to take longer in the winter. I think they know it's winter....:wtf:

Be mighty abliged Dutch will be settin on them then and be waitin. Yur probably right bout them nowin it be winter they probably be knowin my pouch be empty as well and just be takin there time to be rubbin salt in my wound. Thanks gain fur yur valued imput.

I'm having problemd seeing what I need to see from these. Here is a pic that might help you out.
When I have females they have two hairs that grow out of the calyx that I can usually only see with a magnifying glass early on. When I have males they have more then a "pair of balls". In other words, there will be three or more balls before I take 'em out and either destroy or grow for the pollen. My females are more of a football shape and my males are circular.
Wish I could be of more assistance to you, BWD. I'm sure other pilgrims will be along soon to help you out. :thumbsup:

I hope you're wrong for BWD's sake, but you may very well be correct. I just had to scrap the two beauties I was growing because they turned out to be males. So frustrating when you devote months of time and get a big, fat let down in the end. That is why, for the very first time ever, I'll be taking a shot at fem'd seeds. Never believed in them, but after this last go around I am going to give it an experimental shot. I'm also thinking I'm going auto flowering fem's, at least then, at the end of 2+ months time I'll have something to, in BWD's words, "fill my pouch." :D
See, I have a couple of people who depend on me. I will have to give my personal goodies to keep them going if I don't get a product I can give to them to take care of all that is ailing them. Sacrifice for the sick is a sacrifice I'm willing to make any day of the week.

They look like definite males. Hermies are female first, then they throw out some nanners.
You can keep one of them for a while, if you want to breed. Maybe clean out most flowers and leave just a couple to watch and collect pollen. I didn't do it before so I don't know how to do. Also spraying water on them will kill the pollens I heard. You can do that for control the other non-tracked flowers.
Other two must be female then if they still didn't show their flowers yet ;)

I've been growing regular seeds and I was thinking on feminized seeds too. Once I got them I wished them to be regular. Because with regular seeds you have a chance to breed and create stabilized generations. With feminized you have more chance to hermie and only with hermie you can breed that's possibility of non stabilized genes :)
Feminized is good for limited grows IMO. Like only one or two plants...
By the way, I don't know why your plants are showing sex too late. MY bag seeds were showing in third week, latest fourth week. Some said they can be autoflower, yes they can be, I don't now. But my non auto feminized seeds also showed sex in 4th week. They weren't autoflowers. All of my plants was showing flowers under 18/6.

From what I understand through research, is auto fems flower out no matter what lighting situation they are under. Any amount of time has no bearing on the flowering cycle because they will flower out due to life time (days since being cracked), not lighting. I'll see soon enough if that is the case. :)

You mean 20/4 (This what usually for autos right?) or 12/12 doesn't matter, they finish in two months? If so, mine weren't autoflower at all. They took more than 3 months. But all had preflowers under 18/6 in 3-4 weeks. With my current grow there's 7. Was the first female showed preflowers in third week of 18/6. Still flowering now (6 weeks of flower).

I am so happy for you that you are seeing some hairs. 50/50 with bag seed is a pretty good ratio. But, I still wanted you to have four. In a perfect green world we'd all have 100% fems, lol.
