Well all is well lights are off for 7hrs waterd the ladies and there cool... I noticed on my CHEMDAWG clone its leafs has 1 then 2 and theres a cople with 3. Is this pre growth for this one plant has the 1 and 2 leafs in the beging or is something wrong with her. :wtf:
Anyone knows anything abot this strain or knows whats the deal please input.:hippy:
Im attaching a pic of the CHEMDAWG the arrows show the one leaf sides....
-
MMJ Patients first grow....
My GDP did that after we got her, I'd suspect it's natural, kinda makes sense if you think about the amount of stress she just went thru!
1-2 leaflet leaves are easier to make, she will be back to making big happy 5-7 leaflet leaves in a couple nodes. :hippy:
Any of the pro's can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still learning a ton about this stuff! :D

MMJ Patients first grow....
Hey cann I kinda thought that, maybe she thought she was going through the flowering stage or like you said she's going through a stressful time in her life.:wtf:
Can you or someone tell me why does after you take a clone and grow it out the smell depletes... It's still smell if you get super close but not like how it smelled when I picked her up from the dispencery... Input please thanks

Oh yeah, just keep doing whats working and with everything running well, so no need to mess up whats already doing great:hippy:. With the reading you have done has helped you out big time. To many people jump in without any reading or no how, like myself:wtf:. But then i put a year of reading in with a couple grows with help from the pro's here and have been able to grasp the basics. Now i will try and build on that, but still keep up on reading and reading grow logs. The grow logs help to see what can come up and what remedies the problems that come with the hobby:jointsmile:, so virtual experience. lol
Keep er green man:weedpoke::rasta:

Don't know,... it's why I asked..... I really want to try White widdow or AK-47, but other than picking up a clone, (hit and miss around the dispensary's locally, then is it the right genome?) I have no way of doing it.

Well I will keep an eye out for you and if I hear or see anything your the first I will hit up....Promise.

...I know, cuz I've kinda baked my girls a bit on a couple of occasions.
I initially set my lights to come on at 9am, and off at 3am, to 'mirror' what might be construed as 'normal' electricity usage times, but I found that during the day, especially around suppertime, the closet was too dang hot, and I couldn't get the temp down even with more fans.
I then gave the girls a long sleep one night, and reset it so that my lights come on at 8pm at night, and were on until 2pm the next day, thereby being off during the hottest part of my day.
Moving to 12/12, the lights now run from 8pm to 8am, and temps are fine (averaging 76 to a 'hottest' of 82-83 on occasion), though we've been 'blessed' with an unnaturally cold late spring / early summer up here in TO. If I had to fight hot ambient air like last summer, I might have to buy a small air conditioner.
Try shifting your lights to begin just as it's cooling off for the day (unless they're already that way)... hope this helps!

Well CovertCarpenter my lights are set to go off at 9pm til 3am the ...Due to me having to move soon I know I dont want to bother the ladies sleep time when its time to re-locate. You know I wish I thought about off time at around noon but it just seems to always be hot due to us living in the desert...
I definatly need to find a little space air conditioner if im going to be having these ladies in the garrage. Thats like a heat box but not so bad its managable.
Fans just not going to cut it this summer.....
Say the temps stay high but not so high whats the side effects and damage if any....:hippy:
-
MMJ Patients first grow....
I've been thinking of running my lights at night,... there would be a couple benefits to it for me, A, I'm at work during the day, so I can't check on my plants and disturb their sleep, B would allow me more time when I get home to check them over before bed time...... Ohhh yeah, it'd help even out temp fluctuations too, (not that I'm really fighting them just yet)
Down side is if the lights are on, I'm up till 2am,... need to get out of bed at 6:30!
Good Luck Coach!,... try and find a small AC unit, I know there are some "Free Standing" units that plumb the hot air exhaust out a window,... my buddy has a couple of them for his house (not growing, just comfort ;) ) Each one does the whole floor even tho it's only rated for the single room it's in!
-
MMJ Patients first grow....
Definitely a good idea to run your lights at night. I run mine from 7:30am to 7:30pm. It really does help keep the temps stable, which makes happy plants. It also keeps me from playing with them, and taking pictures all the time since I can't go in there until 7:30.

If i were you i might just make your light switch when you move. Its better to run at night for heat and cost. Might really help at your new pad with heat. Ya never know, cuz ya never lived there:hippy: Just putting it out there, cuz better to make the switch before flower.
:rasta:

...from LSY, above. Make the switch when you move. Put black plastic garbage bags over the top of 'em whilst you're actually moving 'em (and make a special trip just for 'em), then, after giving them a nice long sleep, re-set your lights to come on whenever in your neighbourhood the day finally seems to be 'cooling off', add the air conditioner if you need to, and you should be good to go.
I'm thinking about designs for a non-electrical (primitive) air conditioner that will work on the evaporative process...

MMJ Patients first grow....
... just saw something in an ad called something like "scorpion juice" from A.N.... supposed to be the cat's ass for dealing with spider mites.
Also got a great bit o' advice from an ole-timer 'round downtown TO... never enter your grow without taking a shower, and changing into clean clothes. NEVER. You never know when you might be carrying spider mites or somesuch in your hair or on your clothes...
Hope this helps!
-
MMJ Patients first grow....
Good luck with the mites,... hopefully they didn't already get on your other plants!

If ya do grow them outside, i think you will like what you get. I get a nice yield out there, just be safe man. They need as much sun as possible, but will still grow and bud up with just a few hours of direct sun light, iv done it. They just wont get real tall, but if your hiding them, thats cool:cool:
Looking great man:thumbsup:

If your girl dark period is getting light, you will get Hermy's, i did with a porch light. But just make sure the blinds are down, if you see light on the plant. Thats one thing i learned after growing the biggest two ever, both hermied. But if they arnt showing light on them you should be fine. The moon can light up the sky, but no one blames it for hermies iv seen.
Later bro:rasta:

Well your plants are doing well man:thumbsup:, so when is the move. You should really think about your new set-up at your new place. There are tons of great ones on this site, so i might try an take the good from each an incorporate them in your new set-up. It would be great to section off the end of the garage as if its not there. Sorta just bring out the wall and hide the door. It doesnt have to be huge, but enough room for the amounts of plants you will grow at a time. You could vent straight to the attic or better, with the dryer. I guess its about how close the neighbors are, or where your electric meter is, cuz ya don't need anyone knowing your hobby. There is a good thread for indoor set-up, id check it out man:jointsmile:
Good luck bro:rasta:

Thanks man;)... Well we are suppose to move on the first of july, we have been doing work to the house because the renters we had in there didnt keep it in shap...No sweat gives me time to do my homework . I think im going to just flower them in the closet its about 8feet x 7feet give or take... Im thinking of doing that because its going to take me some time to get that garage together. You hit it rite o the nail with what I want to do with the ventalation straight to the addict. the dryer is some distance but I think I can pull something off... The garage is 11feet x 17 feet 8 inches... I definatly want to section it off for vegging and flowering. I will check out that thread on indoor set-ups.
Thanks again bro your the man....:hippy:
Today I convence my wife to run the AC on auto coz the desert was hot today... Temps went down then up.:wtf: Its cool though. Went in there to check on the ladies and I see this fella in the foilage chiling....
Now my ladies have a guardian to look over them....His name is Mr. Jinggles
