Aye is still Medibud. We have been looking at other strains and after the virgin run in the basement I'll scrap a few pennys together and order something new. Still looking at same suff I mentioned before, Blueberry Widow, Strawberry Cough and a few others I cant remember atm
well after seeing the ladies downstairs I guess they dont look quite as bad as I thought so I will be posting pics of the virgin run of my 10-site :D
Ok starting week 7 which for these guys is last week of full nutes, next week is half str then final week plain water. As the title says I have pics and a possible problem. If you take a good look at the leaves you can see what appears to be nute burn on the big ones but if you look at the lil one, or the pic of just the leaf from the lil one, you can see the spotting going up the edges of the leaf. To me this looks like a Ca def, no I do not use Calmag+ at this time as it didnt fit the budget and have not showed signs of needing until now, and would like some other opinions and thoughts as I am so close to being finished should I be worried about it and do a mad dash to try and correct it or just let it ride??
page 2 of pics. why can we only post 5 pics per post anyways?? :wtf:
Man, those are doing awesome. Have you thought about tying the outer most branches onto the outside of the top most circle? Just looks a little cramped, either way, looking amazing.
-C
actually they are not as cramped as it looks and plenty of air flow through the plant so no mold worries either
Have any thoughts on the leaf problem??
My strawberries had some yellowing leaves around them, threw in some Epsom salt, went away. See if it works, just a dash, like maybe 1 tspn for the whole 5 gallons.

Yo man Im loving the big old ladies. I have some DWC monsters that are a little bit bigger than yours and they use about 3/4 of a gallon of water per day. I would imagine that your plants are sucking quite a bit too(maybe like a half a gallon or maybe more) Now if I dont add water at a couple of times a day to top it off, the ppm's get way too high and it starts to burn. Its just because the plants are so big and are sucking up some much water and nutrients, ppm and ph can get out of control pretty easily. PPM's are spiking when the res get low, thus overfertalizing for a little bit until you can dilute it.
These are looking very nice. I love DWC for the ease of operation and the decent yield.
My Krusty Bucket seems to be far outpacing my DWC, though, which is still progressing rapidly but nowhere near the speed of the Krusty bucket.
First, Kudos to ya, tinytoon! Healthy looking little girls (gettin' big now!), and should yeild quite a bit of niceness...
Just a thot... have you ever thought about doing SCRoG, or LST? It seems to add a little bit to the veg time, but can improve yield again as well... and the cages you've put around 'em seem to just /beg/ for it...
Keep up the good work!

first of all glad to see some visitors and ty for stopping by to look and add suggestions.
Dru I follow where you are going and what you said makes alot of sense but the worst of plant is the smallest one and it drinks less than the others. I added a lil epsom salt yesterday, 1 tsp per 3 gal, and have Calmag on order.
Covert this was my first DWC grow, have been all E&F till now, and really wanted to see how it went before changing to much. The cages are there because pretty much all of my previous grows the tops kinda fell over during the last couple weeks of growing and wanted to try to help them out a lil bit.
your leaf yellowing could just be a normal yellowing for its age and timeframe of flowering...i added AN's Kushie Kush(where t.f. do they come up with these names) and noticed it eliminated the need for calmag with better npk ratios..0-7-17 for kk and 2-0-0 for calmag...i see you have already ordered Calmag but just something to look at...i'm not an AN fan but i do like a few of their products!
your girls look like they are coming along nicely!
well I said I ordered Calmag but actually it is GH's version. I dont know what the npk values are but most websites have it listed with GH's organics.
If you want to avoid the need for suport for super-heavy buds, add a teaspoon of silicates to your hydro solution.
Just bear in mind, this stuff makes your stems ROCK HARD. I broke a brand-new pair of scissors trying to hack through a half-inch branch reinfirced with silicates.
i wish I would have used your tomatoe cage idea. A big plant like that in a filled bucket is heavier than shit, and a complete pain in the ass to move around. (I cant get mine out of the closet) And with the big ole nuggets on them babies the branches just fall over. Its almost like you have SCROG, sort of.
I LST like a mad man so i like the to be a little on the bendy side during veg. But I would assume that if i added it during flower it would have the same results. I cant take my plants out of the closet because theyre so heavy they just fall over when theyre out in the open.Quote:

Quick question though, any of you guys ever do a final flush for more than a week? We have always done just the last week as plain water but was curious about doing 2 weeks since it would force plant to feed off of itself more.
I have gone 2 weeks flush because they needed the time to finish. A strain I was not fimilar with. Turned out real smooth but when compared to the next run they seemed washed out. The potentcy was still there but if you gave someone a choice they picked the 1 week flush everytime.
If you want really smooth smoke it's the way to go.
I don't know what it is with people. If it looks good it sells, if it smells it sells even if the buzz ain't there.
If it's the best buzz and pain killer but looks like labador shit then I get to smoke it all.
I too do not recommend the 2 week flush...Seriously kills the flavor and strength of the plants. Its like super bloating a chicken to make it appear bigger...and you will lose a ton of weight when they dry...all the extra water.
I flush for a week in hydro and two in soil.
we gonna stick to the 1 week for now but I guess the main reason for asking was to try to get the plant to use up more of it's own resources. No I dont have Clearex yet but plan on getting that also (It's on the shopping list and it will be the GH version). Just seems like at the end of 1 week of plain water there is still an awful lot of green left and I drain and fill Sunday, Wedensday n Friday so it's not like they got fresh plain water :wtf:
Well here is a kick right in the nuts first thing in the morning. 2 weeks from cutting and the stash has run out and cant find NOTHING for sale around here. BAH!!!
Guess I gonna have to pull the lil one and throw it into the dryer so we have something to keep us going. Everytime you think shit is going your way ................. :asskick:
Story of my life.Quote:

GF's daughter calls and asks how much we need at about 3 ............
sucess at 330 ..................
actually Loc what has me bent was 1 st DWC run, 1st time using Koolbloom and wanted to see how much of an improvement for yeild/quality and 1st we have a friggin male and then pull a plant for nothing /sigh
I'm tellin ya man we are neighbors hehe :stoned:
Dude...I feel your pain. I delayed this last grow by 2 months...and I got at least 2 weeks left until harvest. I am not breaking into my emergency stash currently...but, I am close. Everyone around here charges wayyyy more than I do...The worst part is that I am probably buying my own bud back from other people...for a higher donation than I charged, of course!:wtf::wtf::wtf::wtf::wtf: LMAO!Quote:

seriously now as the title says I'm starting week 8 of flower. The Micro, Bloom and Koolbloom all go to half str and next week will go to plain water. Atm I'm running 2.5/0/5 on the 3-part per gal and 5ml pg of Koolbloom. I am so impressed with that Koolbloom!! I do have a question for others who have used it before or are still using. From what I have read you are suppose to start out with KB liquid and finish with the dry form, comments?? All we did this trip was the liquid so wanted some opinions.
Pics of this week are posted and they are getting real close :D
couple more pics for ya to include what came of the lil plant after being trimmed.
Btw if anyone has any info on a decent place to get a Handytrimmer or Magictrimmer (pro-cut) from could ya let me know plz. If not sure what one is it is a manually operated trimmer that looks like an overgrown salad mixer. Thats the best description I can do if ya need more than that Google it and there are a ton of videos on YouTube.
ok the diy dryer did it's job once again and we ended up with, no laughing plz, 1/2 oz dry. Have higher hopes for the other 3 :D
The other 3 will make it up to ya. Hope that will last a few weeks. I never laugh at smokables especially when they look like that.
They are looking damn awsome.
Look nice, did you flush btw? Since it was early. Looks like it'll burn in a jiffy and get ya up there. You check the tricomes? Those other ladies are looking nice. Very nice.
-C
Forget ....... no there was no flush. was a last minute descion when we couldn't find anything locally. Didn't check trichs till dry (never thought too) but was mostly clear just getting cloudy so 2 weeks should be tits on!! Even though 2 weeks early is very smokable .......... as long as you can get the sticky buds off your dam finger LOL!!! :wtf:
Loc ...... I have had a real shitty 2 days. Have lost 3 of my fish in 2 days (2 of them were Plecos, 1 I had for about 2 years), weather is cold and snow so cant ride my bike, work is getting worst day by day and I'm friggin broke!
Then I jump on this forum and I see what you wrote and it put a smile on my face :) Thank you kind sir and may all your grass be green .................... until you want to smoke it that is
The suspence sux!! I'm all for bringing them down so I can find out what yeild was ............... but 1 more week yet!!! :wtf:
tiny man your girls look great bet your dieing to cut them the lil one ya cut early the buds from that one look fire to how were there?:thumbsup:
