I'll take it to my grave. Just hope she doesn't start reading the forums :)
Man, you want to see wispy, we have pure haze running right now -- 12 ft tall, 66 days in flower, just barely showing buds. It'll be done somewhere around August 17. 100 days, pure Sativa.
I've never finished straight haze before and I've never tasted it, but it's supposed to be exceptional herb. Yields are fairly low, which is why you'll never see it in a jar -- too long to finish and not enough output to pay the rent.
If we were to do a Haze taster here later in the Summer, would you want to bring your crew out for the experience? That would be neat. -Joe
Just me and 20 of my closest friends? :)
Jeebus man, I meant it when I said Haze is not much of a yielder. I was thinking more the TRC crew. Something more educational/experiential.Quote:

We have some bloopers from our security cameras, interviews, event footage and more.
I am looking for an extra plant or two to put into flower asap. Size and subsequent yield isn't a concern, I just want to put a few additional plants in my grow.
Do you have any clones? How soon could they be flowered assuming all I want is for them to survive, tiny yield and all?
Thanks.
We have Banana Kush, ISS, Maui and Pink Pez at the moment. I'd say 9 weeks would be a safe guess.Quote:

I'm curious, which license did you apply for? Type one (under 300 patients), type two (301-500), or type three (501+)? I'm assuming that's the number of patients who have you as their primary? Is this related to size of inventory or something?
I think you're the biggest/highest volume MMC posting here, no?
edit: I understand if you consider this info confidential, so feel free to say as much.
We went with the type one. There is not really a penalty to jump up in license, and that number is the number of patients that have designated you their primary MMC. There are very few that have that paperwork done, considering the forms were released only a few weeks ago.
In your opinion, will the number of type 2 and 3 applications increase substantially moving forward? Said another way, the majority of type 1's will likely increase business, and moving forward being compliant, so they'll increase patient count/inventory?Quote:

My brother is a card holding patient, and he's working close to you today, so I told him to stop by.
He will be a first time visitor, and you should discuss signing over his caregiver rights to you. Do you note referrals in patients' files? Should I have him mention me?
Lots of people will be jumping up levels. It's just a lot easier for a business to plan on making several $5,000 payments throughout the year than one lump sum. Being a Type 1, to my knowledge, doesn't get you any advantage other than the ability to have more patients. Everyone started back at 0 when they released the new paperwork, so the race is for MMC's of any type to acquire patients.Quote:

I don't have any knowledge of increased plant count recommendations. That comes or will come from the state department of health, not the dept of revenue which oversees you guys now.Quote:

I talked to a guy who stopped growing because of the new regs, but he's still going to grow for himself, and 5 patients with 99counts. So he's still right around 5-600 plants.
Do you know if the authorities would recognize the higher plant count from the department of health?
It seems like this could be a loophole for caregivers who would like to remain compliant but still have larger-than-36-plants?
Extended plant counts are viable, but you need to get a statement from the issuing Doc, I believe. In theory, extended recs are more valuable, but I don't know anyone doing additional benefits because of them.
We just got clones in:
White Widow, God Bud, Purple Voodoo, Northern Lights, Trainwreck, ISS, Pez, AK47, Maui, Matanuska
and a couple more.
As always, these are healthy little ladies with NO pests/mildew. $20 a piece.
Made a trip to The Releaf Center this afternoon but was denied admittance because my apps. were mailed under 35 days ago. Thought once your apps. were mailed into the state you were ready to go. Wasted trip, wasted time spent in Denver traffic. :(
I thought if you had your paperwork showing you mailed it in then you where good to go....very sadQuote:

I'm sincerely sorry, the last thing we want to do is turn anyone away. It's been incredibly frustrating, not to mention how illogical it is for the state to make patients wait for their meds. Until this provision is challenged, which it will be, we've got no affirmative defense.Quote:
Lots of questions as to where the 35 days waiting period comes from.
Basically:
A20 allowed you to sell to a patient as an Affirmative Defense caregiver once the patient got the Dr's recommendation.
The "go away at the door" defense under 2(b) kicks in once the patient gets the card AND names the person as a caregiver.
You are no longer caregivers. You are medical marijuana centers. Your right to break the law comes from 1284 now not A20. Thus the only way you are left legally transferring med mj is through the Card and the resulting waiting period or actual arrival of the physical card.
Were you coming in for clones or meds, wkhey4?
Coming in for meds. Wound up going to another dispensary and they honored my paperwork.Quote:

FYI, the 35 day thing is enforced at most compliant places.
edit: I am usually in estes, girl is in parker, and my job is in denver, so I'm all fucking over.
I'm so happy that you didn't go bashing this place. They are just trying to protect themselves so they can continue helping/serving patients. I'm sure 36 days after your mailing - they will gladly assist you.Quote:

Can you please explain the process/strain/product? I'm just curious if it's BHO or bubble etc.
Thanks.
Don't know if you would know the answer or have experience dealing with this issue or not:
Have a friend who has lost her red card. She's sent in the proper paperwork to report it lost. I recommended she send it in certified, making copies of everything, and printing out the delivery confirmation receipt.
The question is: do you think (or would you accept) if she visited a MMC and showed her copy of the original app, dr rec, certified mailing receipt for those two, the lost card form, the mailing receipt for that and of course her id card - that would suffice for her to be able to purchase?
She asked me, and I wasn't sure. I haven't any experience or knowledge of anyone reporting their card lost/stolen, so don't know the process.
Also any idea how long it might take to get a re-issued card? Hopefully not as long as getting the original!
Thanks for your help!

BHO. We purchased a high end extraction machine, it's super clean.Quote:

Are you recovering and re-using the butane, or are you buying cases of it on the cheap?
Assuming it's butane, is it difficult to vent properly? I was most likely too paranoid my first BHO run, but it seems like large scale would be riskier than small scale, fire-wise.
Great questions. We're not using trim, scuff, moldy or pest infested herb. Straight buds. Trim is reserved for bubble hash.Quote:

We do all of our extraction in the mountains in an open air environment. No missing limbs yet, so I'm assuming we're doing well? :)
I wasn't inferring you were using extracts to use otherwise tainted marijuana. I would imagine you're growers are aware of the consequences of dirty grows.Quote:

I've heard that 'pure' extracts can be from 65%-90%, but I don't know of any way to see results posted or anything. Kindreviews posts test results, but I can't see any extract tests anywhere.
Testing meds and related things would be a good thread. Hell, I just grew my first plant and I plan on testing it. It seems like MMC's are really the only ones with experience with testing, and that's still a new industry. I wish I knew more about the whole process.
Would you care to comment about your yield? Grams vs ounces of product? Have you thought about tumbling your popcorn buds and adding that kief to the flowers going into the tube?
Outside where no one is around sounds like a good idea. I've seen nightmare stories of static sparks to kids in breck blowing their house up from a butane explosion [citation needed].
I am having trouble not messaging the mods about that goddamn apostrophe.

@Thai: As long as it's within a year of her recommendation, we'd accept her as a patient. I don't believe there are any hard and fast rules on this, though.
When you submit meds to test, what is the sample size? I'm sure you try to give them the best flowers and that's fine, I'm just curious how much plant material you send.Quote:
