Let me know what you guys think, I know you will be brutally honest:thumbsup:
I went from dirt buckets to aero in 4"ABS pipes
then made an aero system in buckets.
It is the best by far, just a lot of work
Dirt DWC or Aero
buckets is buckets is buckets
MM just went into the legal area this year and I should have my card soon.
Anyway I have found out just enough about bucket growing to make a mess of it. So any info I can gleam from all of you master growers will go to stop the wholesale slaughter of countless seedlings.
Thanks
Whyguy:thumbsup:
I agree...A bucket is a bucket.Matter's not what your medium(or lack there of) is.The more interesting way you use a bucket, the better.
WhyGuy-if you look through some of our grow log's you'll find stuff to help im sure.

Dual outlet air pump - get from walmart about $10 apiece
Silicone air tubing - try to stay away from the clear kind if you can, the pet store should have the blue silicone tubing.
(2) Air stones - do not buy round stones or any type that is connected to a plastic base. You will want to get these from a chain pet store.
Also what type of light and what is your sqaure footage for plants?
Tell me when you've rounded everything up from that list!
Thanks for helping me i appreciate it.. i have few questions for net pot you recomend 6 inches thats the bucket i need to put inside the 5 gallon bucket or is it something else im not getting it??I need to buy a good light because right now i only have 40 watt flourescants and they are the long kind...(I KNO THEY ARE NO GOOD) my grow im doing is outside right now but in soil but i want to setup a system inside my house for 1 or 2 plants and i have the money to go buy a good light and all the supplys..Please get back to me when you can and i appreciate you trying to help me THANK YOU:thumbsup:Quote:

get a 400w Hps or 600 if you can afford it.
i'm not cool enough to grow in a bucket yet, or dro for that matter, but i found an air pump at petco, their brand, that ran from like 30-212 gallons. it has four outputs. it was $24.99. i plan on getting one in the somewhat near future. if i do i'll post back, but if anyone gets one in the meantime let us know.
it doesn't appear to be on their website, but it's in the stores. their website sucks by the way.

Ok i get it pretty much now and so i put that on top and set up my germinated plant and then whats the next steps???Quote:

When do i have to change the water or add nutrients????Also its that easy basically so the roots just end up growing and staying in the water and they get the air from the bubbler thingy....:thumbsup:Quote:

I bought a few of the 10" version, will try them out soon :smokin:
Also i dont need water to be dripping from like the top where the plant is??? And also whats the best way to start the plant in the medium should i germinate it in paper towel method then what should i do next just put the germinated seed tail down in the medium???Dont i need to water it?? Until the roots grow long enough to hit the water???Quote:

Im new to this what is a rapid rooter plug??? I was thinking maybe to start germinating the seeds and when they germinate somehow put them in the medium and keep the water to it can reach the baby root and after about a week or so then just keep the water an inch away from the net pot what do you think????Quote:

I won't recommend the 'wet paper-towel method', that has killed more viable seeds than anything I can think of ... good luck :smokin:
