The first tops I cut are dry, over 2 oz. Camera does not focus on the close setting as it should so no good pics right now. shucks. :hippy:

Hey what's the big idear changing your avatar? Just joking of course, nice stuff shov! Can't wait for a full cure smoke report.:jointsmile::jointsmile:
this avatar is a photocopy of leaves from my 1970 and 1971 crops.
Dry buds from the tops of 'RedBone', a nice Neville's Haze cultivar. Nice smoke too

All the Neveills' Haze is now in jars and looking fine. The Z10, I didn't know what to do, so I scraped away all it's bark, almost cutting through the stem in spots. I stabbed it through the middle of the stem and twisted the knife adn put multiple cuts on the branches. The crown of whispy buds I broke over and forced them down along the sides of the stem. Bad plant! <G>
The trics are mostly cloudy and I plan on watching the results of my ax-wielding before I harvest next week. 13 weeks of bloom. Long enough. :hippy:
NH buds look haaaiirry, very nice. but whats the reason for going ape shit on the Z10? just seems wrong, couldn't have been that naughty. :(
mgm
Redbone.......is that the breeders name or ? Sorry I'm pretty clueless when it comes to breeding.
A little trick I learned from folks here, I name some of the plants so I can rate the quality later on. I named the three Neville's Haze rather than give them letters or numbers. Redbone had all red branches, monorah had spread out branches that looked like a candleabra and spear Chuka had a spear shaped cola. Simple as that, Mrs. Weedhound.
I only did what some Colombia farmers used to do to their columbian gold. Yes, the plant is naughty, it won't finish nice. I've found these afghani types have done this before. I plan on hanging it in a week, I just wanted to see if I could get the plant to react to the attack with more trics or something. The cuts will also prevent so much water intake from the roots. We'll see, right?

At one week before I flipped them I tied them down lst. That was it. Some plants grew back together more than the others but I was very pleased with that experiment.

BTW, the plant has been dry for quite a few days and still looks pretty green, considering. I put a dark cover over it and will cut and dry on Sunday.
The Neville's Haze are curing nicely and have as good of a buzz than the parent plants already. Very nice smoke. I'll have to weight and photo soon.

It is super tasty, nice smooth smoke. Great high, no paranoia, "everything's interesting", thoughtful buzz. Munchies. I like it a lot.
Still testing the NH. It is very narcotic, couch lock on the riper plants. Sleepy Time buzz. There are four different products from the three plants. There were early (top) pickings and then the rest of the plant.
I just received a fresh, 18 pack of Mr. Nice Seeds, "Neville's Haze" (16 week flower). I'm psyched to have them, I'll probably grow (some) them this year sometime. :)
