Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
Well, so far, I have:
5 MK Females, 5 Males.
1 AI Female, 6 Males, 3 Undecided
1 GreenCrack Female! (Lucked out on that one!)
And a still flowering Lowlife Lowryder Mystery Indica.
Next, I will be transplanting to their final homes, 3 gallon pots. I have some holes to drill.
I picked up some hydroplex today, the hydro guy said to use it all the way through flowering.
Anyone with any other insight on using this with soil, (cough cough weedhound)!
4 more days and they will get their final squirts of reverse.
I hate spraying! My leaves look like shit. Some of it is also due to not very carefully watering too, splash a little here, splash a little there.
I really really really hope that my other 3 AI plants are in fact female. I will be hugely disappointed if they turn out to be males.
It will be nice to get things thinned down in there! Wheew!
Now if only my clones would survive.
Looks like I will be re-vegging an AI for sure, but likely a MK, and the GreenCrack as well if it turns out ok. I just do not want to run all the way from the beginning with seeds AGAIN! Once I make my final cuts, and get these ladies re-potted, I will post some new pics. Hopefully they will look better than they do now.

I wouldn't touch that "reverse' with a ten foot pole. IMO....:sorry1:
-
Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
Well, here is the breakdown.
4 MK females
1 AI female
1 GC female
All I have to say....
AAAAAAAARG!
Clones, not looking so good. One is rooting really well, 2 have some new growth. The others don't look like they will make it, and of course the 12 male clones are now gone.
On the bright side, I have lots of room to work now. And my plants won't have too much competition for the 2 400 Watts of HPS.
It is looking more and more likely that I will be needing to re-veg my sole AI obviously if I want to keep it, as well as the MK.
Lowryder is looking good.
Did I mention I got a total of 18 males out of 24 seeds.
FUCK FUCK FUCKITY FUCK FUCK!
I re-potted everyone except the greencrack, I will re-pot her next dry period. All the girls were once again totally root bound, again, I am shocked at the roots on these plants. Hopefully all the horrible bad stuff is behind me and the rest of this grow will have more ups than downs. I can't help but wonder if something I did could have caused this sausage fest, but I guess it's really just a numbers game. I expected 50/50, and ended up with something like 6 females out of a total of 24 seeds so that's like what 25% female ratio.
I am hell bent on NO MORE SEEDS! I never want to waste another drop of nutes, or minute of effort on my part to cultivate males.
Now, I am going to go do some killing.:chainsaw::chainsaw::chainsaw:

Well, it's day 10. Everyone got their second shot of Reverse and we are going down the home stretch.
My 4 MK ladies are spittin' pistols as well as my AI and GC.
The lowryder is just trucking along and I think it looks healthier than all the others, it's stinky too.
I am an idiot, and took the pictures under the HPS of course, so they look like shit.
Everyone is re-potted now, just did the GC tonight and cleaned up the grow room.
I will try to get some better pics here after a while, once there is something worthy of pictures anyway. Right now it's kinda ho-hum.
Lowlife Lowryder Mystery Indica

And Misc. crappy ass pictures.
[attachment=o204747]
Here you can see the GreenCrack Lady on the left hand side next to the LLLRMI, very droopy, desperately needed to be re-potted.
[attachment=o204748]
In the back is the AI Lady, to the left the LLLRMI, and the GC in the foreground again.
[attachment=o204749]
The 4 MK ladies.
[attachment=o204750]
This was a pain in the ass night, had to move my lights up, also cleaned them out and wiped out my glass, it was very very dirty.
Tomorrow night, everyone except the GC will get fed some Botanicare Pro Bloom soil, CalMag of course, and Hydroplex.
Temps are steady around 76-78, but they do get down a little lower during lights off.
It kinda looks like to me I am getting some "claw" going on. Not too sure why, I cut off veg nutes already, so I wouldn't think that it was due to excess nitrogen? Maybe light stress? I dunno.
Other than that, not much else to add.
-
Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
Well, I realized that I missed logging my last feeding.
Tonight, I fed 3ml/gallon of Bloom, Hydroplex, and CalMag, with 1 drop/gallon of superthrive as well.
I am pretty much just guessing on my nutes, trying to keep it low and work up. If anyone has any input please let me know.
I have never used hydroplex or calmag with soil, this is different because I am using ro water this time. (therefore the calmag is needed) and I wanted to use the hydroplex this go around. Any advice would be appreciated.
I also used a drop of liquid dish soap this time to be sure that everyone got very well and evenly watered. PH runoff was right at 6.7 and everything went in at 6.8. So that's not to bad.
My next watering will be just plain ph'd ro water with some calmag, maybe 3 or 4 ml/gallon again. Get a good mini flush on. Then back to feeding again. I am going about 2 times feeding to 1 time mini flush if that makes any sense.
Later gators.
-
Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
The GreenCrack and AI are looking better today. I will be watering plain ph'd ro h20 with cal mag. That's it, it looks like I am mini flushing every 3rd watering, and I am basically watering every tuesday and saturday night.
Lowryder is looking stinky and trich'd out. It actually looks awesome, I just suspect it will only yield like an ounce or less, probably waay less. We'll see though, I don't know a damn thing about it.
That's it.:D
-
Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
Well!
Um it seems that I have some pics to post. There has been significant growth.
They all went from just a few pairs of creamy white pistols that you had to really look for to all of the sudden pinky nail sized flowers. Just babies, and some baby trichs. They are starting to frame up and look more like lovely ladies.
There was something going on with some of the older fan leaves, not really sure what? Whatever it was has not affected any new growth which all looks good. There are also some intresting things that maybe are perfectly normal that I just never noticed. I dunno? I will post some pics of everything probably monday night.
I watered tonight with 6.8 ro h20 with 3ml/gallon calmag, and 1ml/gallon hydroplex. Just wanted to give them something really light and get a little bit of runoff.
The AI is looking pretty decent, it is just runty and bushy.
The GC has a problem, I will post pics and what I see Monday as well.
Lowryder trichs still pretty clear, will post pics and see what you all think.
Later.
Oh! And now I have 4 clones that have started pushing through the RR they are in! I thought I lost them all but 1 or 2. Lucky me, hopefully they will make!
I need to get a veg area set up soon. :wtf:

Here is the 1 AI out of 10 seeds from Nirvana folks. Guess I just have bad luck.
Pretty runty, bushy though I guess.
Some leaf issues, again not sure what is wrong. Hope it gets over it, I am sure it will be fine. I guess?:wtf:

Well, everytime I go in there I think, "humph! Those look nice, how lucky am I?"
They are doing great. Flowers are starting to clump together right now, really looking lovely.
LLLRMI trichs are maybe half clear half cloudy, more clear than cloudy though.
Now I am getting a little excited.
Fed last night,
3ml/gallon of Pro Bloom and cal mag
2ml/gallon of hydroplex.
PH at 6.8. light runoff.
The really big MK really drinks it down fast and is probably gonna mess up my sched that I have them no now. I suspect it may need some water friday, it was really really dry and even lighter than the others, which were close to dry like they should be. I think it's just bigger and just drinks more I guess.
The other 3 mk really look alot alike. Even though the "big MK" is bigger, the flowers are bigger on the other 3 shorter MK. Actaully so are the flowers on the AI and GC too. The GC is the trichiest of all of them, go figure it's the most fucked up plant I have to and it just keeps chuggin' along.
Hopefully the lowryder will be ready in 30 days or so. We'll see I guess I have no idea how long it's supposed to go, I will just watch the little shinny golf balls on those little tiny golf tees.:D
That's it, for now I guess.
-
Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
Well, I wasn't expecting to feed tonight, but low and behold, all 4 MK are dry and light. Ready for more.
I still haven't really seen any burn from my light feeding, so I am going to bump it up a little tonight.
4ml/gallon Pro Bloom
3ml/gallon Cal Mag
3ml/gallon Hydroplex
I am really just guessing on my dosages here. Anyone that has some time under their belt with MK, from Nirvana feel free to chime in on what levels you have used with soil grow.
In the meantime I will just continue to creep it up 1ml at a time. I am more interested in the ratios of using the calmag and hydroplex, in conjuction with the Pro Bloom.
In the meantime I am winging it.
The AI and GC (which is more sugary than any of the others, and the most sickly looking of all) can still wait on their next feeding.
Lowryder is looking lovely, flowers are growing fast. Couldn't be happier.
I'll get some pics posted soon.:D
-
Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
Hey just to add, in addition to the previous post I also added about 2-3 ml of molasses per gallon. Just thought everything was going to well, so I needed to do something to doom my grow might as well be this!.
Just joking of course, but really I hope that I am feeding in good portions with what I am using. I would really love to hear from anyone else and what they do for a soil feeding schedule.
Word.:wtf:
-
Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
Well, I fed everyone today.
The mix I adjusted slightly, I noticed what may be a little burning maybe, maybe it's something else. Who the fuck knows? Anyway, the mix was
3ml/gallon Pro Bloom
3ml/calmag
3ml/hydroplex.
In at 6.8, runoff was 6.72323232323232 you get the picture.
That's pretty much it.
I am pleased with the overall health and growth of the plants, very happy actually, pleasantly surprised.
The greencrack for sure has the largest flowers now, out of all of them, and is by far the most sugary. I am very shocked at the flowers on this "sick plant". Hmmm!
Lowryder is mostly cloudy trichs, still a few here and there clear. No amber yet. Still waiting, still watching!
-
Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
Well, apparently the kush is good.
I got a little off on my counting.
Today, should be day 24 of flower.
The last post should not be day 28, it's day 24.
I am not sure what is wrong with me.
Whatever.:wtf:
-
Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
Well, I have some pics. They will be the next several posts.
First up, all MK, the big branchy one with the smallest flowers. All the MK still just have baby trichs at this point.
This post will be the plant overall, next closeups of the same MK plant.
Yeah, she's a real xmas tree for sure!
[attachment=o206560]
A shot of a yellow leaf, I have had a handful of big old fan leaves yellow and die. I don't care I guess, it's probably not good, but I am not too worried, overall the plant seems fine. I just chalked it up to natural phenomena.
Top shot, here you can see where there were previously multiple flower heads, they have now merged together and are getting a little bigger everday.
A little farther out shot, I was trying to get a shot of additional budsites.

Well, I can't believe this, but my pots almost feel like they could be watered again tonight? WTF? I am going to make them wait until tomorrow to ensure they are dry and buffer against me being crazy.
One of my 3 shorter MK ladies, overnight, has become very crystally. I did a double take on it earlier when I peeked in. It is almost as sugary as the GC, and last night there was barely a trace of baby trichs! Wowee!
I have been going 2 feedings 1 plain, but I think I am going to go ahead and feed them again. I suspect the amounts that I am using are light enough that I want to see what I can get away with. Soil ph is still ok so we'll see.
I did leave out the molasses last time, the time I used it I did notice some burning, (or what I think was burning) very slightly on a few leaves. Nothing significant though. I think I will skip it again, and just up the doses from last time.
-
Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
Well, I fed today, everyone got a really good soak in some 6.7, w/ 5ml/gallon of ProBloom, CalMag, and Hydroplex, a drop of dish soap as well..
That is by far the heaviest feeding I have done with them yet so we will see how it goes. If they can handle this then I will leave the calmag and hydroplex at 5ml/gallon, and continue to increase the Pro Bloom, next stop 6ml/gallon!:wtf:
I always just check my ppm since I can as I mix my nutes to feed, and this ended up at 700ppm. Last feeding was around 500, so all you soil guys, any of you check ppm of what your feeding, and if so what's the most you have fed?
Oh and interesting note, my ph runoff came out at 6.72? WTF? I put it in at 6.72, and that is what the runoff read last time as well when I fed at 6.8. I am not complaining, and I guess it's probably not a bad thing, I just expected the runoff to read a little lower than normal since I was feeding 6.7 instead of 6.8, so does this mean that my actual soil ph is 6.7? What does it mean?:stoned:

Sir thank you for stopping by and for the kind words!
I am an extremist with everything! So this grow I decided to be highly disciplined as to how often I watered. As with everything that I do, I may be in danger of taking it over the top though.
I fear that maybe I am under feeding or watering, my big fan leaves on the lower end of the plants are yellowing and dropping off. My GC literally has 2 or 3 main big ones left. All the others have plenty, but I literally loose 1 off every plant every other day it seems at this point. I know to some extent that is normal, however, I wonder how it may affect yield down the road loosing them this early on in flower.
Otherwise they look fine, all the new growth is just fine, flowers are chugging along, and vertical growth has leveled off.
I have done 3 feeding in a row, I think the next watering will be another semi-flush with ro + calmag. Do any of you flush soil using ro without calmag? Is that ok, would be good to know.
From there on out I will kinda try to be more generous with the water and feeding, see if I can't get some obesity going on!:D
-
Master Kush, Aurora Indica Perpetual Grow
the fanleaves falling off? usually, it's nothing we can do about that. It's a good thing, because I've never been able to stop 'em. :hippy:
