Holy shit man, I feel bad for you, this must be quite a fanatical church. I mean even if you were a heroin addict, it's a churches DUTY to help out their fellow man, especially their fellow christian, not tell you to fuck off:mad: . This is right up there with that US government law that says you can't have financial assistance for college if you were caught smoking pot. yeah, that makes as much sense, somebody's "ruining their life" smoking pot so we'd better make sure they don't get it back together by getting an education.

Hahaha well, i've often had it out with my family over this issue.. to the point now where i simply won't talk about it with them because every time i do it turns into a fight about it. Not fun. My personal favourite's are the compairing marijuana to pharmasutical drugs like prozak or morephine.
My mother had her gallbladder removed for various reasons and continues to take a medication for it. She once suggested to me that i try the medication she's on for my acid reflux problem.. but they're completely non related! when i objected and optioned not to take the drug that was prescribed to my mother.. i had to explain that i'd rather control my symptoms with a natural substance than take something that not only wasn't originally intended for me, but possibly not even relavent to my problem!

I tell ya.. family can be a real heartache and pain in the ass sometimes..

The people who make these silly, ignorant uninformed comments are usually no younger than about 40, they're all living in the past. They get fed a load of bullshit/propaganda by the government and it sticks with them, it's been etched into their minds and if somebody tries to tell them different they don't want to know. When I hear these stupid comments about cannabis it pisses me off but at the same time it's kinda funny and makes me laugh at how dumb these people are. I've tried to inform people like members of my family that weed is a beneficial drug and is not dangerous, not addictive, can't overdose etc... but it goes in one ear and out the other, they don't want to know and don't care yet they still enforce their stupid opinions. It's probably because I'm young that they don't take me seriously, I guess we'll have to wait for the government to tell everybody that this drug is harmless because it seems that the government is the only thing that most people will listen to.
When cannabis is legalised, I hope they praise the drug with the same effort and publicity that they used to trash it like when they made that stupid fucking film--
