So i got home. I opened up my tent and i swear there was a dead skunk in there haha! it was a great smell.
My grow box got up to 93 degrees which is pretty high, so i unscrewed 2 of the 4 CFL's at the bottom and hopefully that will put me back to around 85 degrees. :wtf:

Looks like he was about 1/4 right on the additional lights. I'm going to have to learn about lighting at some point, but right now the sunshine works mighty fine. I may come knocking at your door for some help with a tent and some lights when it starts cooling down here.
That was a wicked lookin' forest shot showin' some really good branching. Those arms and legs will be able to hold up quite a few sweet buds. Keep up the good work, my friend!

Those are some dark green beauties, anbesol! I know I was saying the NYCD was stealing the show, but your Hypno is looking fantastic too! You've a good eye for the budshots too! Looks like you have your grow well under control, and these ladies will have a nice, stable climate within which to thrive! I'm anxiously following their progress, as I know you are!

nice ladies
wow have the buds got bigger. i'll be taking a picture soon, maybe a day or so. they hypno has taken on alot of weight. Im starting the second phase of aggressive bloom on tuesday. (increasing the liquid cool bloom, to one teaspoon instead of 1/2 of one.) everything else is the same on the grow chart. Has anyone used this grow chart before or going to start using it?
Ok here are some new pics. Again will start second Aggresive bloom in another day. The NYCD bud's are getting bigger and bigger, even the lower branches. They smell very skunky. However the Hypno smells a bit like my nutrients. I want to smoke some buds so bad. but im being good. im waiting till they have been cured.
I finally got a bucket and a mini pump so i can keep my nutirents mixed up all the time and use it also to feed the plants

Saturday will be the begining of week 5. Do my plants seem like they are growing at a normal pace?
So i Picked up the Book "Organic Marijuana Soma Style" who as everyone knows is the creator and distributor of NYCD. He says in there that he starts to Flush at the beginning of the 8th week. Does that sound normal? should i only do the ripening phase for 1 week? or should i cut down my aggressive bloom time (2weeks) to give longer to Ripen? Please Help
buying a new tent with a 250 watt hps. i would go 400 but im moving to an apartment and im worried that it may take up too much juice. anyone have an opinion? anyone grow with 400 watts in an apartment? how much are your bills per month?

alright so i figure that no one reads this anymore. but i found out that the hypnoberry harvests at 8 weeks. so im going to finish this week up with a ripening then its off to flush for her.

I'm not much help with your questions i'm afraid, your girls are looking good tho :thumbsup::thumbsup: but aren't you a little early for ripening and flushing? I could be wrong, i'm not familiar with your nutes or schedule it just seems they're still some time from harvest.

Hey Hudson. Not the NYCD. they are 10 weeks. im on week 5 ending on friday. to week 6. i decided to start ripening the hypnoberry because that plant finishes in 8 weeks. so im starting ripening now for the hypno then flush at start of week 7. using final flush with that.
NYCD got some more time.
so next grow. im getting at 400 watt digital ballast and a new grow tent. :) my girlfriend decided that she likes the thought of free weed haha

haha! yeah she earns it bro! shes not a heavy smoker. she smokes maybe 1 gram a month! so im not going broke with her. unlike me, well with purchase i smoke an Ounce a month. so i hope i can start supporting my habbit... I really want a 600 watt lamp but since im moving to an apartment. i dont want to go over board and will just use a 400 watt
Haha 1 gram a month? Won't take her long to earn, all the more for you to smoke tho! :D Yeah you should be able to get yourself a years supply in a couple of grows with that 400w, have you got your next grow planned? You gonna get a veg/clone room going with your old room? :D
400 watt can produce quite a bit. I'd say that a 400 watt can illuminate a square meter, so looking at seed reports for yeild (which is measured M²) you can get an idea for the yeild of the strain using that 400 watt hps. Just a stoned idea while reading your thread.

Yeah I just swapped my T5's for 1000w air cooled hps system. Be growing the same strains so I'll be curious how much better they do.

Here are the Clones of the NYCD. Sorry, The clones from the Hypno wouldnt Root, so my hypno is the last of the seeds i have... The other didnt pop or were male :( The little container of soil has 5 Ontario Skunk seeds which i was given.
In regrads to your KWH question. going from a 250w to a 400 w is only a difference of 150 w. If you figure you will run them on avaerage of 12 hrs a day that equals about 54 kw a month. Look at your bill and see what you pay there but here in Boston that would run another 6.00 a month or so. Your rates may be different though
So in smelling my plants they NYCD has a weird hashy smell. I also want to say that there is a slight beef jerky smell to it, and being a vegetarian i find that gross. so im hoping that goes away. The Hypnoberry has a very fruity smell almost like candy necklaces. They hypno has put on a ton of weight. i cant wait to see how much i get out of her. im really bummed i didnt get a clone because she sure is great looking.
