I think we got 60% female last time. i thought that was just above average for non-feminized seeds. and the LEDs are all soldered in place and the different power requirements, so replacement would mostly impossible. good ideas though.....

Ill stick W/ working w/ the HID'S and you guys stick w/ selling procyon's to growers all around the world... If what your goals do come true your talking major changes in growing for ever.... If it is possible you guy's should tell Procyon you want to market and sell there product. I know it is dangerous but once you reach that goals you have it set I don't think you will have a problem selling 1000's of them to all fellow growers a lot quicker then they can... Maybe even a Job with them ever thought about any of those possibility's a bullshit title but they pay you? They definitely know you two GUYS try to grab up the rights to sell their product... I have been following your grow since you started your first in Jan. I was sorry to see you second grow had troubles have you started number three yet? I am hoping to do an LED grow this winter I just have to figure out the set up plan. I use Fox Farm also but I tend to use around 50% of what they recommend. I'll download the pics of my grow as soon as I find my cord for my camera. I am using just one gallon planters I got and planting soil I bought at a fertilizer store it cost me 24 dollars for 3 square feet it comes with Gypsum and fertilizers in it already. I have used fertilizers sparingly PureBlend every third watering and I water it every 4 days they seem to be doing good with just the one procyon 100 and the mirrors I have around them. I have 6 plants beneath it now but may be able to get another couple in it. I start my seeds in soil and let them grow a little in natural light for a couple weeks and then put them in there tyhat way all the light doesn't kill them. I tried putting clones in there but they all died so I think it's best to get them started a little better before exposing them to the light. I started the 12 hours last Friday the 6th of June so hope to be puffing in several weeks. I have a couple kush plants in there and a Mexican plant, Just curious to see if it is grown well if it will be better than it usually is shipped North of the Border. Anyways I'll show you them as soon as I can.

Check this shit out if you get a chance it takes a minute to boot up but #4 seems to be the best for our needs but they all seem better then Pro Mix

we just got some miracle gro seed starter mix...its low in nutes, so it should be fine...Im gonna take stinks advice and do multiple transplants too...small styro foam, to 1 gal to 3 gal for the moms...and stopping at the one gal for the clones, not moms...Im either gonna use the single procyon for breeding, or more growing...dunno yet...may be multi-purpose:thumbsup:
gonna be opposite of second coming in that i have alot more snl nh as opposed to smash...so the snl will be the predominant strain in the garden...should still get a mum outta the few smahberries i have left...
wonder if i could back cross the purple kush outta the smashberry since it isnt available in seed that i know of....hmmm...there are now 3 seperate chambers o light....just a stoner ramblin idea....

You thought about using Coco? I am a real hack at growing, usually screw up everything, but coco has really been working out for me. Very, Very forgiving, kind of a compromise between soil and hydro.
Been using LEDs with better results then CFL but not as good as HPS.
Can someone show me ea really real PIC w/ a COCO Grow Recent?
Please I really wanna see the HYPE. What is the difference from soils and drainage? I seen STINKY Say'S you could have just the same troubles with COCO Drying up maybe even worse then soils...

So Sn's lets talk medium with soil not that enticing FF shit although I am for last resorts thinking of using. I went to all my local garden shops looking and you see peat moss ProMix Top soil ect.... All the same basic shit every were. I'm trying to get that sunshine #4 but seems to be NG @ this point.
What type of soil do you use and what would you consider for a 4x12 bed? I just want to pick the ORGANIC growers minds...
This whole soil mess is holding up my cycle time. I had Fire Engines stop by today.. :D

The soil seems to be very good for your needs considering you will be constantly repotting. I have plans to only Veg for 4-10 day's tops. Then straight into flower. The SOG never fails as long as the soils are in good shape. The Hydro shop I've been going to for over 10 Yrs the owner passed away and his wife and daughters are trying to do there best. Man I miss my buddy Dan he would put my mind to rest... He was the soil guy and the HYDRO guy is still there that's one reason I went DWC. I really don't want to go else were but they are not helping me out W/ this one. They said they could get that sunshine 1-3-5 maybe I will just Mix the 1-3 or 1-5 I will call sungro and ask them what's the best way to go to try to reach four with the #'s they can get for me...

SNS, On your first grow I remember seeing branches with bags on them. Was this for seeding a branch or two? and did it work? If I do that on my plant how long should I plan on it taking to produce new seeds for me? I have a Orange Kush male plant that was starting to get ready to throw it's pollens so I bagged it. I'm curious if I put it on one branch if it will possibly contaminte my entire closet with seeds or as long as I seal it well enough will it just be on the branch I put the bag on? Your help in this would be greatly appreciated. since raising my lamp to 4 feet above my plants they have taken off and growing quite well. I have three palnts that have grown since starting to pop up under the procyon and three plants I had to bring in from outside to insure I get to smoke them and not a thief they are all doing very good, I can't wait till I get to try them all out. Any help in this you can give would be appreciated.

just a quick question, do you think 2 procyons in combination with a 400w air cooled Lamp, placed roughly 18 inches above the plants, will provide aqedquate coverage for a 4 foot x 4 foot grow tent?
