Yeah they're starting to grow good now. Watch those roots and make sure they don't tangle together for when you move them to the bigger space. Also keep an eye out for pre-flowers....you may be getting close to that point once they stack on a bit more size.

When do I wanna throw them under 12/12 lighting? Another week? Tomorrow is the 5th week for the first 2 while the third will be on its 4th week.

I would wait at least 2-4 weeks. Let them heal and grow bit bigger and stronger.

No but your pics need to be more clear. Those plants look pretty damn good Krimet...good job bringing them back.

Hey I think I see a preflower one of them.....the one with the dead lower leaves....I think I see a pre flower near your white yarn there.
Now Krimet.....stop playing with them and let them grow or you will stress in them into hermies or poor yield or something. The more you do all those things like lst etc the stress you put on the plants and yours need as little stress as possible.
Also watch where you tie them cause they can outgrow the string pretty fast and it will choke off your branch or stem or whatever you have tied there so check all your branches etc often to make sure they aren't being choked off.
Good luck.

Thanks a lot weedhound. You've been very helpful. I'm going to try and get clearer pics up asap.

Its the plant in the middle.....check the nodes along the main stem....I think I see a preflower on there.
-
My first Hydro grow! tips and comments are appreciatied
I did a quick check and I have no clue on whats what really, it all looks like secondary leaf to me.
-
My first Hydro grow! tips and comments are appreciatied
It looks like 2 little white hairs coming out from the node. The plant in the middle, third node up, on the left side in the photo. It helps to have a magnifying glass.....they are pretty small.

Update

I believe the 3rd is showing a preflower of a piston, but it's too new for me to be sure. Camera sucks to much to get a shot of it up close.

You are now a true grower Krimet....welcome. Branch snapping is a basic....:D
I don't really know your setup....but can when do you run your lights on....day or night?
I have heard of people running the lights at night and off during the day to try to assist with heat issues. Dont know if it would help you guys or not. Just a thought.....;)

are your reservoir temps in the 80's also??
-
My first Hydro grow! tips and comments are appreciatied
My grow room stays under 85 degrees, but barely, i've never actually taken a res temp, i'm guessing about 80
-
My first Hydro grow! tips and comments are appreciatied
res needs to be around 70 or less to prevent root rot
-
My first Hydro grow! tips and comments are appreciatied
no shit? I did not know the res could be too warm. I was always told you want it warm so the nutes flourish in the water.
-
My first Hydro grow! tips and comments are appreciatied
Another thing, I noticed the root roting was only taking place in the air pocket of my res. Is that still from the heat?
-
My first Hydro grow! tips and comments are appreciatied
Money is right Krimet.....80 is too warm. 70 is considered ideal in hydro....going up from there increases your chance of rot.
I personally think your roots look pretty good right there....there is SOME browning but that actually may be staining from your nutes.
Are you using a zyme product such as Cannazym, Hydrozyme or something similar? You really NEED something especially if your res temps are that high. It will help alot with keeping your roots healthy.
Also consider a good flush to help get rid excess salts, ferts etc that build up in your medium and cause their own issues with root rot, fungus, disease etc....
Krimet your plants look quite good. Good work and healthy, happy looking plants.

I have only been using h2o2 like you said, 2ml per gal every other day.Should I also top my lst'ed plant so that it can focus on its secondary growth?
-
My first Hydro grow! tips and comments are appreciatied
If you are into flower then no....don't top because you won't get more growth at this point...it will just stay gone. All your good topping chances are over. In looking at the photo above of your plants I see perhaps 3 leaves sticking out over buds that I would remove....the rest I would leave as is. They look great and will use those extra leaves later on for energy and nutrition.
I forgot I told you to use H202....are you using the hydro kind (35%) or the regular grocery store bought stuff (3%)? That will work for you for root health as far as killiing stuff off but is missing a few of the things in the zyme products. But i'd stay with your H202 for now since it seems to be doing a good job for you..
PS....Rinse the dark portion of your roots off with some plain H202/ph'd water and see if the brown stuff rinses off. I have a feeling it will. ;)
-
My first Hydro grow! tips and comments are appreciatied
Would you remove any secondary leaves that are bigger and covering other bud sites.
-
My first Hydro grow! tips and comments are appreciatied
Yes...as I said I see about three of them but you can also bend them under which is even better....I'm a very firm believer in the less is more prune theory. The other thing is your plant will change and grow daily. This is where I start getting into issues.....I pull a leaf and the next day I have to pull another one....next thing you know the plant is bald because every day it changes a little bit and grows a little more. So my rule generally is to bend it back out of the way if it will stay there great....if I have to bend it back daily for 3 days then I'll yank it. ;)
