those plants look a lot nicer then mine at 3 weeks :wtf:, but lookin real nice weedhound, keep up the good work!

Pics today guys......the Brainstorm has become almost......scary. I call her Fang. This plant is one of those things that's adorable when small (like buying an alligator or something) and then as it grows you start to see EXACTLY what it's shaping up to be.
I moved her into the flower room yesterday as I was honestly afraid to wait any longer. She's going to explode as it is I fear. If I hit a pound on one plant it will indeed be on that one.
The Power Plant has been struggling and I'm not really at all sure why. I think it's one of those "backward" growing plants that I absolutely hate. They don't grow up and out.....they grow in and down in a big twist and create huge problems for themselves the whole time and then end up with an average yield on top of everything because of it. So far i'm not seeing anything CLOSE to a pound from this plant but the last one I grew really went wild once I put into flower so we'll see. The roots on BOTH plants look very good so that's a plus. :)
We're also germinating two more......an Arjans Strawberry Haze which has popped (thanks Rock! :thumbsup:) and another Church seed. The new Church seeds I bought I'm having trouble with. I used a different seed company because my usual doesn't sell the church. Got the seeds with no trouble but AM having problems germinating them.....the first one didn't crack in five days and the second one is on day 3.....and I'm not seeing anything from that one so far either. The seed company is a very reputable one but THAT DON'T POP MY SEEDS NOW DOES IT? :wtf:
This plant and the Brainstorm are the same age.....yes....six weeks old from seed. I've been playing defense with this plant since about week 2.....when interestingly enough I started using my Liquid Light on both it, the Brainstorm and my WW clones. I'm only GUESSING that this is the problem......I've flushed the plant thoroughly although the roots look good (and always did) and adding H202 has changed things either........as a matter of fact NOTHING I've done has really altered the way this plant is growing including stopping the LL quite awhile back (and using it at 2/3 strength anyway) AND raising the light. All other parameters are normal as well. Opinions?
kinda looks like that mystery problem we had...that we called "Ph problems"...lol...dunno what it really was

I finally turned this plant yesterday. I was afraid to wait any longer although originally I was going to veg them....well....for six weeks lol. Fang has been topped TWICE already and is 22 inches tall from the top of medium. It's been quite a long time since I've vegged something this long before turning it and this plants is SUPPOSED to be one of the "highest producing feminized strains" so we shall see. (Northern Lights #5 x Haze)
So far I have seen this plant blink at nothing from abnormal ph to LL, trimming the roots, breaking off a nice branch and some leaves accidently and topping to try and keep her short. She just marches on regardless. THIS is a true weed!!! :thumbsup
oh we've been watching the ph Stealth and I did flush the plant....you are actually looking at its fourth set of true leaves burning up there.....count close and you'll see all the nodes stacked one right on top of the other. I'm seriously thinking of turning her because I think she'll do much better in flower but there's no damn room.....everything else is taking too long to finish. :wtf:

It's a pity that the PP won't grow, the other had problems too, ironically it's supposed to be an easy strain to grow...but i hope she will catch up during flower....
If you have time i would feel honored if you could check out my grow log too, i have a little mazar plant currently....keep it up...:hippy:
Oh oh oh....I've wanted to try mazar for awhile.....I thought that was an outdoor strain.
I don't know if LL would cause problems like that, but I've never tried it on youngsters. I use it at half strength for adults, and when I try it on my next babies it will be 1/4 strength or less. I've been too afraid to try it at anything more than half strength because of it's godzilla-like results.
Hey WH, i read in the strain talk part, that Mr.Hound uses the Church to threat insomnia....but i really would like to know your opinion....how is the buzz of the plant, how potent is it???
And thanks for checking out my log....i know my plant is not that big & sexy, but i hope that maybe, one day, i gonna get so nice looking plants as yours.....:thumbsup:

Zeb I found the Church to have a good high but way too "indica-ish" for me....definitely one that will slow you down more so than the strains that I prefer. There are those that slow you down and those that just plain make you stupid.......I personally put the Church in the second catagory. But they definitely work the best for Mr Hound's insomnia (on a regular basis vs having to change strains around to avoid tolerance.) :thumbsup:
She's doing much better (knock on wood) after being moved into the flower room. Now I just want her to stretch a bit.
Fang is gonna be a MONSTER!!!! cant wait to see her all grown up!!!

Sounds like the big plant is doing very well, WH! I would love to try and grow a big tree also but I don't have room. I have 12 "trees" in a 4' x 3' space right now and they are packed solid. The problem was that I had no loss by attrition. No males and no funky midgets. <G> Maybe next grow. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy your project. Keep up the good work, Weedhound. :smokin:

Well sometimes I do, and that's one good and long name for a type of stoniness. I agree white rhino can be good, but from experience, if you think that's good just wait till you try some heavily amber AK-47. My white rhino may have not been from a reputable dealer (RIP), not sure since it was a clone from a clinic, but I'd say that my AK is about twice as strong. Don't forget what's mine is yours.Quote:
