That garden border is looking mighty fine Kenn, they've come up through the 'security' net beautifully.
How many hours of direct sun are they getting?
And it's good to see you giving C. horizontalis a run too, that's one of my favourite ways of garden growing cannas.
Dunno what I am going to do with the monster I have growing down the bottom of the garden. Impossible to disguise and rapidly outgrowing her hiding place. Pics as soon as the batteries recharge :hippy:
Well here is the monster and a couple of sprouts by twilight...
v/ nice SL looking bushy and healthy..cant wait to see it when its in bud.
Thanks Kenn.
I've had to shift a few things around because Santa brought a trampoline to the kiddies who live behind and to one side of my veggie garden. :(
That plant is bloody big..........it should blossom out with lots of lovely buds. :D
that's the general idea :D
Good work SL..Gonna have to get some shots of my girls..Will post after my bush bash this week.
I've used plastic flowers in the past to disguise my backyard ladies. Buy them from Crazy Clarkes or some $2 dollar shop then string them to your plant. It does work as a disguise to any out of control bush...Just a suggestion..
Happy New Year..
Hello puzzled1,
yeah the plastic flowers idea is ok during veg, but I don't think any amount of plastic flowers would disguise these later into flower. In previous years I've just gone with more screening and weighting down the colas as they grow too tall.
looking forward to seeing some of your pics. :hippy:
eg. I can't see artificial flowers effectively disguising this ~
sl that plant looks sweet as thats wat im talkn about:D
:smokin:ss
thanks ss,
the images aren't displaying atm, but I am pretty sure I posted a pic of last years mumma triffid, 1/2 way between first and final harvest. another couple of months and the current crop will be looking something like that

Yer man things are a changing on Cann .com,Ive read that there will be lots more changes too ..They want to promote more medical marijuana..and move away from threads and posts. Medical M.J whats the point, in Australia I dont even know if we have medical m.j...So I guess if the threads and posts end so will our Aussie forum  eventually. That will be a sad day so we all have to find some other site to stay in touch and show our grows.:(Quote:

Woah, your girls are sexy as kenn.
Makes me wish I had planted my Celtic earlier!
I planted all White Russians except for 1 Celtic.
I'm thinking of attempting my first indoor grow with my Belladonna seeds as well as my White Russians once I can find some info on how to go about setting an indoor grow up. Don't think I can wait for the next outdoor season to start.
But yeah, keep us updated on how they go.
Double Post
