Technaflora Plant Products - Recipe For Success
Try that. Look at the package at the bottom of the page, that's what I'm using. My past two logs have details of their nutes too (different).

Here are a couple of attempts at bud-closeups.
These first two are Afghani/BOG hybrid from Foxy Seeds.

These two buds are "Bag Z"/ Afghani/BOG.

I will definetly harvest something (at least 1 or 2 "Z" plants) after eight weeks to cure in time for the holidays. The rest I'll harvest at their peak.

hey, Smokenss. Sorry, your post snuck by me. I have a 3' x 4' are with one (4-lamp) 4' T5HO fixture, two (2-lamp) T8 fixtures and a 42W CFL. All are warm white, at this time.

Those look SWEET!.....Starting to drool alittle....:)
Nice thread Shov been following your progress..looking VERY good....and well looked after.
thanks :]
I'm hoping that the two afghani will put on some weight in the next couple of weeks. Heck, I wouldn't mind if they all bulked up a bit more. But the "Z girls" really seem to have lots more bud mass at this point.
I transplanted the late starter, Bubblegum, into a 5 gallon bucket and watered with a low dose of root stimulator and Trive Alive B1 Green.

those look marvelous :)
Looking very nice!
Photo update the plants are into there 7th week of flower, almost 8th. It's been pretty cool in the grow area, 67º - 75º. Growth could be quicker, but the plants look health, dropping lots of yellow and brown leaves.
Here are the two Afghani and a 'ghani bud.

Here's a "Z" plant and bud.

And, here is the top of the bubblegum.
I hope to have a growth spirt here, as this is my favorite "tea" and this plant isn't going to be a huge producer. A week ago I took off some bottom popcorn and dried it. I just puffed some and it is fuckin' A. <G>
(ya, I know I just pinched a bud of it last week) :p

howdy shov.
BG not a good producer? Or just that plant/pheno specifically? I have an "interest" in some BGs right now. ;)
I've grown a few generations of Bubblegum. I'm sure that the nutes were not a negative fator in this grow.
Thanks for the question, budluv.
Shovelhandle
sorry, too high. lol...
umm... No the genetics for bubblegum is very good. The BG just had a late start with this grow.
lol right on bro. I'm a first time BG-er
lookin great, any new pics of this great green christmas bud?
I usually post pics weekly, around Friday. This week I'll be out of town. There is one other variety that I've not posted a pic of. Maybe I'll try to get a shot up today.
Shov
Yo, I be all wet. There is only three varieties. No pics until this weekend or so. Sorry.

ride shovel ride on your mystery ship...
those are high quality plants from good growing shov'
the training on the first picture in post #94 is BEAUTIFUL.
Good growing Shov your buds are always nice & your logs interesting.
I decided to try and get some of this grow ready for the holiday. Yup, a little late but I can't rush now. The plants have flowered for 8 weeks. The Zs have some cloudies showing so I am going to pull two of them this week.
Today I flushed all 5 Zs and aerated the soil using a garden trowel around the edge of the buckets and lifting the soil up. Most plants seem to like this, especially in wet conditions (such as flushing). They are back in the garden to dry for a couple of days before I put 'em in the dark/warm for 36 hours before I harvest.
I tried to take some pics but I was too shakeeey but here's a couple.

Very nice!!!!!
You came out with an awsome grow shove!
Was wondering how it was going been awhile since your last post.
Mine are just starting to bud have 6 to 8 weeks to go.
Thank you, JG. I wish I could take the time to photograph the plants better... Lazy about that, I guess. Your logs are doing very well too, Bub! It sure would be fun to share our stashes with each other here in the Grow Log Forum, but I guess we'll have to just smoke our own and pretend. lol
BTW, the best weed from my last grow was the afghani x bog medley from Foxy Seeds. It really works well (it got better after it cured for a few months too). I used a male to germinate with the fems of the same Foxy seed as well as the "Z" bagseed plants. So, these plants all have those genes except for the bubblegum. I can't wait until the crop is finished (cut, dried and cured for a few months). I just hope that I have enough stash to last that long. <G>

Well looks like your going to have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR :)

YUP I see where your going I am going to do the same unless called for or I get board. :)
all of UR stuff looks great to me.
Mmmmmm....afghani...
Your grow is a thing of beauty, nice to have a variety.
The temps in the grow have been 10º lower than normal. I'm using 100% flourescents with electronic ballasts, so not much heat there. This has effected the grow as some of the buds are smaller and growth is slower. For the size of this grow I could add an HID ficture but no funds for that. A 1500 watt electric heater with fan and t'stat is overkill. So, I got a heavy duty GE Halogen 70W flood lamp. This will suply some additional lighting and lots of heat!
I have a couple of themometers set up, so I'll see how it's working out.
Thanks,
Shov
The Z-ghanis are not as ready as I wanted, so today I put the one plant having the most difficulty with the cool/dampness into the dark for 36 hrs preharvest. I changed the 70 W halogen flood for a 100W and that brought the temp up to 70-75º. Much better. Inspection with a microscope shows 50/50 clear and cloudy trics as well as a little bit of red spots in some.
Here's a photo of the one little Bubblegum in front of four of the Z-ghanis.

Great problem solving with the 100W flood, and that Bubblegum looks yum-yum tasty!
MVP
You got me salivating.
AWSOME job Shov!!!
How tall are they?
looks great shov. by the way im thinking bout harvesting this week and was wondering what the all dark period before harvest does?
they look fucn gr8 top job shov:smokin:
they are some fat buds shov, good job how long more you going to give them? a week or two ? they look just about cooked haooy christmas eh!!!
Garden temps have been 75-85º lately, that's real good.
I have the first plant trimmed and hanging after 48 hours of darkness as suggested by BOG, Jorges and other smart peeps, some say it's an old wives tale.
How tall are the plants? Well, they have been broken over, so they aren't as tall as they would otherwise be. I'd say 18" average but they would have been 36" had they been left alone. Why did I do this? To keep the buds closer to the lights.
They look just about cooked in some photos, but under the microscope the trics are still 50% clear. The hairs are mostly dark though. They have been flowering for nine weeks, I think most of them will need 1-3 more weeks, especially that Bubblegum.
I don't think I will have any of this ready for the holiday, but luckily I still have stash from the last indoor grow (my summer/outdoor grow was stolen).
Thanks for the kind words,
Shovelhandle
Sorry to hear about your summer grow being stolen, Nothing pisses me off more than having my plants stolen. I have had it happen too. So to counter a compleat loss, I now do several small to medium size gardens in differant locations far enough apart so if one is found they won't find the rest. This year I hope to do a bumper crop outside with cloans.
Also thanks for the reply I was wondering because mine are slightly taller 20" to 28" tall right now at the end of their 3rd week of flower. This gives me an idea of what to expect.
again great work shove!!
