Yah, the humidity at night can approach 80%. I keep the fan going, and that seems to help. Also the watering is done with a basin under the plants so that run-off can be removed. The bud rot was a problem with an Afghan that I harvested last week. The buds were huge and very tight. I caught the problem early and only lost a very small amount of bud.
Let me tell you those buds are very very good!

I get some Widow plants that finish earlier than others, even though they are from the same mother. The photo below is one that finished in 42 days. Riddle me that, potman? :wtf:
My Widows love molasses with Sweet. It really builds the buds.

I will say that the Afghan was way to good. I thought I grew some nice Afghan! Ha, this Afghan is so potent! A small bit in a Volcano and wowie zowie!! Nice stuff.
And the next crop coming in is the white widows and juicy fruit which have already ruined me.!
And this is a little girl!
I wonder why juicy fruit is not out there more?
Dr. Bloor, I was out of the cannabis culture for too long. All these new strains are a wonderment! I want to grow them all!!!! P.S. I'm trying to be very patient and let those widow buds ripen fully. Oh so close now!!!

Are you feeding the Juicy Fruit molasses? If so, what is the concentration? May head to the hydro store todayto acquire some Sweet. It's probably too late for the Widow's, but it may yet be helpful to the remaining Afghans.
No Molasses yet. I think they are still sometime from harvest. They are just getting the fertilizer solutions I have been playing with. The plant on the right is getting the Hawaiian Bud & Bloom. I was looking at trics again and still to clear. I am looking for darker, per the boss here.
You can start with the molasses now. It can be fed to the plants all through flowering.
Here are a couple of pics of the top buds from one of the White Widows. Pretty good for a first time grow! Thanks to all of you for your help.
Don't cut them yet , let them go for another 2 - 3 weeks minimum .

Too late High. I harvested the the two widows and two Afghans this morning. I was beginning to have some bud rot problems with the Afghans, and I did not want to risk this problem spreading to the widows. Those particular buds were 18" long and actually quite thick. The climate here can be quite humid, and I think the Afghans are more prone to the bud rot problem.Quote:
