Question about LSD/Acid

Thats what confused me because I think that the structure of DXM is actually the opposite enatiomer of the one I posted, which means that it could not be converted to morphine and finally heroin. I am not into heroin but I think it is interesting. So the sturcture for DXM posted may be wrong. I was also reading about meth. And I guess you can get ethyl ether from staring fluid, I don't make meth. either its all theoretical, for the fun of chemistry. but the page said to wash the starting fuel with water. But I would probably wash it with a sodium chloride solution once, then with water three times and them distill at abou 30-32C. That would probably make it more suited to use as a solvent.

None the less I'm sure the authorites have already read this because I'm sure they monitor the web, so they probably know who I am aready. It's not a biggie though I got nothing to hide. Ethyl ether has its use for other things aside from making illegal drugs so purifying ether from starting fluid makes for a nice organic chem. exercise. THC synthesis would be smoother than making ACid or heroin or other nasty shit like meth. cause THC is not very harmfull to you body like narcotics and amphetaimes/hallucinogens/designers.

yea see the MSDS for starting fluid shows it contains about 40-70% diethyl ether, 5-10% CO2, and 25-60% heptane. Given the boiling point. of diethyl ether is 34.51C and the boiling point of heptane is at 98.42C, they could definitly be separated by distillation, at 30-35C first and then 98-100C or so. I bet there would be some resin left in the pot after the fluid has been completely distilled.

DXM is an anologue of levorphanol, which is an opioid. The DXM Faq has a little information about this

These compounds would most likely have opiate activity. Unfortunately, as someone (wish I remembered who!) once put it, the isomer fairy isn't going to descend from heaven and wave her magic wand. You'd basically have to get the cross bridge to flip around (if you could do this, the hydrogens would probably conform as desired). Good luck! Personally, I don't think it can be done, at least not easily. By the time you got the lab and chemicals to do it, it'd probably be easier just to make methylfentanyl from scratch.

That is true I would not make heroin or anything for that matter, I don't have any lab equiptment anyway or any place to set it up. But its a good synthesis problem, mabey when I have some time I'll solve it. And I agree that making opiates would definitely bring the DEA into your home pretty quickly. There probably litte info about it cause no one has figured it out, let alone fiqure out the equilibrium, optimum conditions and relative quantites of reagents involved in the procedure.

THC is supposed to be one of the hardest drugs of all to make synthetically, thats why there are only like 1 or 2 chemical manufacturers of dronibinol (synthetic THC) in the whole world.

Hymm. theres different ways to do it because there different kinds of THC derivatives.
I know that one method for synthesizing (-)-delta1-Tetrahydrocannabinol can be done in a simple one step process by reacting p-mentha-2,8-dien-1-ol with olivetol giving about a 50% yield. Theres diferent ways it can be done, I think most of them involve the adddition of two compounds together. one of the addition reactants seem to be compounds with 1,3-hydroxysubstituted benzene rings with a organic substituent in the 5 position on the aromatic ring. They are more or less special reagents, so they are probably very hard to come by.

My guess is that drug companies are trying to keep it secret. I think thats fucking bullshit that some drug company could patent THC. Marijuana has been around for centuries they seem to think that they can just take plants extract the components and say that they own the compound and no one else can sell it or manufacture it without there involvemnet and approval.

lsd has been studied for a very long time in the 70s by albert hoffman and timothy leary to the extent they took acid everyday and documented it for about six months and gave their notes to various scientists to study and there is actually about 100 books on acid and its effects, basicly it works on your seratonin levels just like any other drug except its stronger and a hallucinogen in that aspect it doesnt make anything bleed or make you drip spinal fluid it just works on the brain like any other drug any other questiond ASK!!
