Crispis' current growings ons .
dude nice grow there crispi. I had no idea you could get that big of plants out of a bubbler system, but then again you must have a 1000 watt light or something? That looks great man are you running something similar to what I have? by the looks of it I would say yes but just curious how much the same they are so I can kind of know what to expect. You're making me want to get a 600w now. :stoned:

Stunning!
You are ALMOST making me want to play in the water ... :D
-
Crispis' current growings ons .
Hell yeah... Those are big healthy plants. How long do you vegetate? And what kind of nutrients do you use. Do you stagger your harvest or just have a big one every 2 months? NLxNev. Haze... you are in for a treat;)

Weedhound - Are you having to hold them up already or is that the proactive approach for when.....? = One of the 3 dirt plants behind these 2 already had a branch bend / topple from weight so we tied these up before there were any such problems . No clones yet - been to busy / lazy . :smokebong:
Deft - Our systems are the same except we just ran a 2nd airline right down the pump coloum w/ the 2 other existing tubes to power the airstone . These aren't that big believe it or not , My mentors back in the days of Overgrow = Krusty - BOG - and SoQuick could get up to 3 lbs. or more per bucket w/ just DWC no drip . They have much more headroom and light than I though , they topped more than once too . Search for "Crispis' growings ons" for more info on my set-up , 2000w btw. Never ever done a complete grow log , just a cpl. pics. every now and then . :)
Stinky- I got a spare bucket ? I won't tell , honest . :D
Earthly Dank - I don't keep track of veg. time ? They get topped once at 14-16 in tall , given 7-14 days to recover and push out all the new tops and then flip them . Nutes are G/H 3 Pt. using Latewoods recipe + cal/mag , cpl. drops of superthrive , and Koolbloom from the 4th-8th week of flower .
No staggered harvest , can only afford and keep up w/ 1 room . I usually do 4 at a time - takes about 5 mos. start to finish - last 4 yielded 3 lbs. on the money . Do it twice a yr. and have between 6-8 lbs. of killer , never ever ever smoke regs again . :D
Peace all

Hey folks ,
Ran into problems w/ recirculation about 4 days ago . The root systems are just as huge and crazy as the buds . Roots have been pluggig up the inlet and outlet to the 2 buckets allowing the control/pump bucket to run dry = burnt up pumps . We used drain fittings w/ screens / strainers from flood tables to prevent this from happening anymore .
Plants are almost in the 7th. week of flower now and really packin on the weight , have had to do lots of tying up and supporting of huge budded branches and colas . More pics. tonight after lights are on .
Peace

I'll send you the pump and all the plumbing for a controler bucket itself , all you'll need is a dark colored 5 gal. pail and a 7/8 in wood boring / spade bit and the black hose . I get it at homedepot for cheap . Gotta run , I'll holler later on I.M and won't flake on ya this time .lol . It was my birthday saturday - and I was HIGH to say the least . :D

Here's some good reading from our pal Ed .
I never tried it before but have been using it for the past 10-14 days . w/ no adverse effects , it stays mixed up well too unlike molasses . We'll see if it makes any dif. in taste / density .

>I??ve got a sweet tooth for sugary, candy-flavored ganja. In fact, sugar is

>many different sugar supplements to augment my plants?? health and flavor,
>and I want to share a few of my favorites. Some of this information will be
>a refresher course for seasoned growers, but I??d like to start at the
>beginning for the introductory grower and briefly explain the importance of
>sugar to plants. Plants make their own sugars (carbohydrates) through
>photosynthesis. Plants combine light energy (from the sun or a
>high-intensity discharge lamp) with water and CO2 from the atmosphere (or a
>CO2 tank or burner), and the result is sugar. This sugar is the essential
>source of energy that??s utilized for all cellular division and the
>formation of plant structures (i.e., huge, dank buds). Now, you can??t grow
>a plant in the dark by watering it with sugar, but under otherwise good
>growing conditions, you can supplement your nutrient solution with extra
>sugars to boost the natural levels created by photosynthesis and make your
>plants more vigorous and productive. The real icing on the cake, though,
>comes from the fact that a little extra sugar will improve not only the
>yield of your garden but also the flavor of your favorite herb.
>For serious growers and/or gadget collectors, you can even measure the
>amount of sugar (on this scale, we call it ??brix,? pronounced bree) in your

>Until about seven or eight years ago, using sugar as a plant supplement was

>sold as dextrose or corn sugar??it??s really the same thing), available at
>brewery-supply outlets and online for just over $1 per pound??less than $1 a
>pound if you buy in bulk. While glucose is readily available to plants as a
>form of supplemental carbohydrates, it??s just one form of a simple sugar
>and lacks the rich flavor found in other, darker kinds of sugar. It can
>also be difficult to dissolve: If you dump a large amount into water all at
>once, it has a tendency to form into a gelatinous wad of goo (of which even

>into a beaker of warm water first and pour off the dissolved liquid. Leave
>any undissolved materials at the bottom of the beaker and add more water
>until fully dissolved. The use of these products will indeed boost brix
>levels, but it doesn??t do much for flavor enhancement, which is what this
>article is all about.
>My all-time-favorite source of supplemental sugar isn??t sold by a
>plant-nutrient company. It??s Sucanat??a form of dark raw sugar sold as a
>sweetener for foods in natural-food stores everywhere. But Sucanat is a
>great sweetener for your sinsemilla, too. Made by Wholesome Sweeteners,
>Sucanat is short for ??Sugar Cane Natural,? a dried cane extract available
>for under $3 per pound. Sucanat is darker than most organic sugars and has
>a more molasses-like consistency to it because it hasn??t been separated or
>refined. It will increase the brix content in plants, but the darker sugar
>has more vitamins and minerals and a rich caramel aroma as well. Sucanat
>dissolves readily in hot water and doesn??t seem to turn into goo like
>dextrose does.
Peace and maybe more pics later ,
