Just found that the PH was on 7-7.5 so lowered it to 6-6.5!

Also I made some tabacco juice as a pesticide.... Does it really work?

hey stone do you have a old tall dresser around?

thats all my cab is was a 4 draw dresser converted over and then made a door for it, i dont see any fans in there....are there?

Nope there isn't any which sucks, I think I have a good idea though just waiting to see if I get a hps. Basicly I'll have 2 sets of shelves(the kind that stands up in your room not on the wall type). And then put them together remove some shelves and board it up as a box. then mylar it :) See what happens.

And I nope I don't the only ones I have are like mahogany and family value, the others are too small :(.

2 days into flowering and no sign of sex, thinking its the lack of light?

Is 2 and a half foot tall enough for a grow box?

Mylar came yesterday so made my new grow box, here are piccys. I am in the process of getting a HPS now!

yes its to stop light from getting in there should be pitch black during dark period. cfls are great dont underestimate. some strains take 1-2 weeks to show sex then 1-3 more to start budding

2.5 tall is doable, but you will need to LST bigtime. You are doing so freaking good, stone..Keep up the good work!

Mighty ghetto, there, Sensation...but, hey, your plants look good! :D Hope you whip that thing into shape soon. If you are flowering, you must look at keepign it light-tight during dark periods. Be cool. :jointsmile:

I have ordered a 250w HPS lamp so will come this week :)!!!

I am not relying on the grow box to be 100% lightproof, thefore I will be patching it up this week to stop that bastard daylight :D.

Btw I now have a working fan :D lol finally!

My 250w HPS has arrived and I've positioned it OK. Really waiting to see if I can pick out any boys before I position it perfectly for the rest of the ladies. So far no real signs of sexing although I can see definite change happening.

I will try and get some pics for you guys later.

lemme know how much heat is comming off of that 250 bacause i may decide to get one myself...just an idea of how much ventilation it needs!

well its pretty warm to my hand about 5 inches away but with 3x 80mm pc fans and an oscillating fan you should be fine. I haven't got a thermometer atm its gone walkies :(.

Here ya go peeps, not really pics of my plants but you can see em there.

Picture 1 is of my new HPS light in the setup at the top of the image (the big white thing) and there is also my envirolite in the middle of the image (you can see I've removed the little CFLs.

Picture 2 is of my new cloning/veging bedside table cupboard that I've rigged with fans, mylar and 2x26w CFLs.

Picture 3 is showing how discreet it is (there will be an england flag covering everything apart from the fans.

Picture 4 is the inside with average Joe already being LSTed (I'm starting early this time because I did it to late with the last lot.

I felt there was no point in taking pics of the plants yet until I have sexed them :). Shouldn't be long now :D.

Just had to LST again they are taking up so much TALL space :P

Well very unfortunate for me and I am mildy PISSED OFF, but shit happens so:

From the plants that are on flower I have 3 definite males, 1 potential male (really hard to tell so keeping my hopes up) and 1 where I am not sure.

I will be emailing the seedbank to see if I can blag some free seeds for this disappointment.

I still have my youngling which is still in my cab next to me. It's 5/6 weeks old no pics yet.

Sorry for not updating i've been away for the past week. Here are some pics.

No pics of Speckle cos i forgot but it's about as big as the others without signs of sex.

Oh and what shall I do? Chuck em or keep them incase the others turn male and I can just have half the high from them?

I sent an email to the seed bank asking what the F**k was going on, they replied:

So 5 out of 5 plants are male..... 3.125% chance and I hit the bullet :mad:!!

I am still growing them however. I don't know when to harvest males so could use some help here. I may update with images of them every so often, but my main concentration is on the plant still growing in my cab that i'll be getting pics of for you.

thats bad luck, my plants showed sex this week aswell, i was fortunate enough to get 3 females from 4 k2 seeds, get some more seeds and start again,you have everything you need dont waste your time continuing with this grow if you are sure they are all males. stay safe mate!!

man its a pain i no.. but the thing is your environment dictates the sex. When a seedling is about 2 weeks old thereâ??s loads of factors with in your grow room that will influence the out come of your plant.

An experienced growers female success ratio will most likely be higher than a novice as they no all the tricks. Whatâ??s your setup, temps and feed schedule with in your room?

The seed banks do test to check the f to m ratio they cant really be blamed! :)

Well being very honest my setup in the first 3 weeks was terrbile. 5 plants sharing 1x125w Flouro, there were no nutes and no oscillating fan!

Now my setup is 1x125w fluoro, 1x250w HPS and 2x26w cfls. There is an oscillating fan with plent of mylar around.

Btw feed schedule was with every watering, too much? I've just read I should be doing it every 3 waterings.

Herby is male, Bin Laden male, Green Giant undetermined by pics, Runt undeterminable by pics as well.

I'd leave the last two in there. They might turn around.

As other posters have mentioned, the most likely cause of all the plants being male (if that is in fact the case) was the stressful start of thier lives, not the seedbank's fault. NO nutes for the first three weeks is GOOD, not bad. But lack of light combined with the stale air could not have been good. If I remember correctly, your plants were pretty weak stemmed in lieu of this fact. I've got my fingers crossed that one of those two in fact is a female!

Thanks Bree, but those pics are nearly a week old and I can say now that I have 4 out of 5 definite males and waiting for the painter and decorator to leave before I check the last one.

Don't forgot I still have the little one in the cab and hopefully the last of the 5 will be female. What shall I do with the males, my brother and my friend say I should keep the males as they will still be smokable, what is your opinion?

Herby: 11 weeks old and quite a relief it wasn't female or it would have produced a crappy yield.

Bin laden: 11 weeks old and would have produced some big buds if were female.

Ok it has balls but it seems more bushier than the rest as you can kinda see from the image. Sorry I will get more space after chucking some out so i can get some better images.
