The Fog :rastasmoke:
bree your plants are looking great, you will be having a smoke fest soon so be happy girl. Those seedlings you got goin do look really similiar. If you get tooo stressed out Ive got bottles of beer in my fridge put aside just for you lol.
Well happy Monday everyone. I've not done too much with the girls this past week...just plain water until today when I gave Ava and Bea a feed and took thier pics.
The cold night temps have left Bea looking quite purple and Ava slightly so. No purple in the buds, just leaves. Will that change? The most sativa like one Cecilia has no purple whatsoever. The sprouts I tried fimming six days ago, and it looks as if at least one attempt was successful.
They all still look like they are the same strain.
Humidity has been a real wench. I spent a few hours at 61 (yikes!!) and then the next day I kept it pretty steady at 55, then the next day down to 45...but today when the lights came on I noticed that it was 58. Good news is that there should be no rain this week and the air will be drying up quite nicely! Bree dances the no bud rot jig at least for this week. The idea of purchasing a dehumidifier has been tossed around, but unfortunately there is no money to toss a.t.m.
I'm wondering if I should feed one more time before starving them...well I was going to give molassess so not a total starve...decisions, decisions. Cecilia will obviously get fed a few more times, she doesn't even have one brown hair on her yet, at five weeks flowering  !
Well, Happy Growin and Tokin. I'll have to have two series of photos, since I have eight to share. No closeups this weeks, feel lazy and I don't think they have grown all that much. Maybe it's because I stare at them a lot, a watched pot never boils, er grows, sigh.
 Bree
Here is the last series.
I fiddled with the color on Cecilia, hope it looks not all yellow-y.
I'm really impressed with this shrimp and seaweed compost. Not too hot for seedlings and they seem really happy still. They seem a little leggy, but I guess that is due to the low light conditions they are under for the time being.
 Bree
Plants looking VERY nice, there Bree. Glad this was the first log I looked at when I logged on! :) Cool purple leaves. Sadly, I cannot tell you anything helpful otherthan mutually drool at the plant porn. Nice pics. Nice plants. Improvement from your last grow, IMO. Those humidity spikes shouldn't really cause too much of a problem, as long as you have good air movement, so fret not. :)
Well, I better get going. So busy, and I promised a JOAMM II this week so I gotta get to editing after I stop in on some of the logs around here. :)
Be cool, Bree.

The pic is of Ava...So here is the story, for shits n giggles I ckd trichs yesterday and Cecilia was majoritively clear + clear forming (no surprise there). Bea was mostly cloudy some clear and a very miniscule amount of amber. However lets talk about that little lady Ava. She's already at 5-10 percent amber. So upon further sniff inspection I'm wondering if that bitch went ahead and got herself knocked up. I don't see any new hairs forming either- solidifying my thoughts that in fact the rabbit died (ha ha psycho that was from your post...).
I have not found a seed or nanner yet however. I have taken three samples two from near the top and one at the bottom. Next time I ck I'll be taking three more samples just to be sure (of different areas)....I still can't believe that she would be almost done at 5 1/2 weeks.
I have taken off about five small branches that are drying. I've sampled a little, and it's not too bad hard to burn of course because it was wet, but a nice little buzz. Lasted about two hours...
I'm not sad-this plant hasn't performed well at all for me, and I'm looking forward to making room in the flower chamber. I figure in four days she just might be moving on up to the great lighter in the sky!!
Happy Growin and Tokin,
 Bree
Oh, and Fog, I'm looking forward to the new JOAMM!
Okay, plus two days, I'm a little late. I haven't chopped down Ava yet, although as you'll see in the pic, someone has been picking a lot off of her!! Her growth seems to have been better after this including her trich production, so I don't think she hermied or is pregnant, yeah! I cked her trichs two days ago and she was almost done...tops were good but the bottom buds could use a few more days. As soon as she is dry enough from the last water, buzz buzz and I'll be buzzed as well lol. Once her samples dried, I was amazed how much better this grow is than the last. Much better medicine, and this is from the one I thought to be the worst of the lot. I believe that purple Bea should be done in a week to week and a half maybe? Cecilia I didn't ck. She is going to give me lots of nice bud I believe....She's a monster. I have two series of photos again....sorry. No pics of the little ones, they are almost at a dead standstill (in growth) because they are rootbound, and have a little ph/nute problem since it is hard to control with them being too big for thier pots. I hope to have that cleared up by the end of the weekend, although it going to be busy one.
I think for my next grow, I'd really like to get some better nutes....but the ole checkbook has been registering 'no'. Sigh.
Enjoy the photos. They are labeled. I lost my magnifying glass, so pics are kinda crummy.
Happy Growin' and Tokin'
 Bree
a couple more....One of the monster Cecilia and one group shot. Enjoy!
 Bree
Wonderful group photo. Where are these plants, time wise? And, what varieties are they?
Thanks,
Shov
OMFG OMFG OMFG.

Variety: bagseed from an old time grower, said he saved them now and again when it was good, I had a hell of a time germinating them because they were quite old. That is why some were popped on 3-16 and some on 3-24. I can't remember what my germination ratio was....something like 60 percent....lol. Heck some of them may have been in his workbench in his barn...for years.
I can only attest thier great growth to the light, I'm obviously a novice and my nutes are mg products (all purpose and bloom). The first grow took me...er um, around five months (maybe a tad more) ha ha ha ha....
to hydrocannabis, thanks for the um, compliment? lol, jk ty.
 Bree
Purty long winded aint I? ha
Frickin' great looking buds, Bree. Very nice. Sorry not everything is working as planned (i.e. nanners, etc.) but it'll be alright. You have the technology. You can make them stronger, better, smellier, fatter. ;)

I'm not really spending much time on them. Just trying to get them done now. I'll be posting them as soon as I do that. Maybe I'll just slap the last one together now and say fk it so I can start JOAMM II. You are good encouragement, Bree. :D

 Bree
And I'll keep my eyes peeled for JOAMM, but I do understand, with it being summer and all...so much to do, so very little time...sigh.
OH, whoops, my bad. I could've sworn I read thatyou found nanners...maybe I was getting mixed up with another grow. Well, I'm glad you aren't! :DQuote:

 Bree
You must have esp bre you responded quick, you can read my mind i think.
Good buds, Bree!
Shov
Those plants look wonderful.
Are they showing purple under normal conditions or have you dropped temps into the 60s?
hey bree do U know how much is the wate of UR buds.
or how many grams that is.
anyhoo UR buds look killer.
Unfortunately it is caused by temp drops. I don't do it intentionally, so I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the nice colors instead of implementing a heater during the night.Quote:

Thanks for the nice compliments everyone!
I have a few sets of pics to share. I'd have one of the new sprouts but my camera died, BOO hoo. I'll try to get some later. Hopefully I'll get to the store before harvest....sigh not looking good.
I've had issues with heat and humidity...especially in the past few days. I've been running my central A/C but it hasn't helped all that much. You can see that this has not helped my yield, but I still think things are going well and I'm not going to cry over something I cannot control at this point in time.
We'll start with Bea. She is almost ready to harvest. I cked her yesterday and decided to let her go another day or two...I do believe she is very pretty!
And here is the lady that has my heart! Cecilia. She does have some lumpy looking bud, caused by the heat and humidity I am assuming...in addition to getting a little seared when she's too close to the glass.
But she smells great and looks heavy as heck too. She still has a week I believe. She is turning a little tiny bit purple.
Also a side note, I discovered that my rootball wasn't as large as I thought on Ava. Most of her roots were in the bottom, circling around.....so note to self to give lighter waterings occasionally so the roots develop through the medium more evenly....well hopefully. This also lets me know that I do have more time to veg, and that should be good.
The bb's and the bm's are quite rootbound I'm sure, but they are on hold til I have some more room (soon ladies and gents soon!)
Happy Growin' and Tokin'

yumm yumm to my tumm tumm.
I wanna smoke a dumm dumm till my mine gose numm numm.
lookin beautiful. mmm.:D
Wow I haven't been in this log lol. Those plants look damn good. If my ScroG doesn't go right I hope next time my plants are as uniform as yours. I planned my grow to look like yours with all the colas just growing upwards rather than a mini-bush with a bunch of smaller nuggets. If I can get mine to look like yours I might not have to ScroG.
bre your ladies look lovely!!! , I just chopped about an ounce worth of side buds off my favorite indica today. I will be choppin my full batch down in the next couple weeks. Cant wait to see an update from you.
Hey r00t....! I'll pop in over in your log directly after this update.....
Pics are a limited, haven't got around to getting the batteries quite yet (as expected). So there are no pics of Bea's harvest -BIG SIGH- but the good news is I found some other batteries (not good ones) in a drawer so there is one of her all cut up, after drying for a few days mind you.
Cecilia just needs a few days more, probably soon as today's water dries up.
New batch is doing well for being so large in tiny containers. They are two that have alternating nodes...One of the BD's has the most strange growth (one stem split into two) Probably from FIMMING...sadly no pic, but if I think of it I'll share once I get some batteries.
Enjoy the photos!
I'll should have weight on Bea in the coming week!
Happy Growin' and Tokin'
 Bree
I am very impressed.
great job. the top of the drying buds look kind of purple a bit.
Thanks KL4D4 and hydrocannabis...
The smoke on Ava was great, but on Bea I'm not pleased as of yet...bad taste...but okay smoke...mids only though. weight was 45g :( so I'm kinda bummin today but looking onward to the betterment of taste and quantitiy..sigh. Hopefully the good genetics are better all around...
going to grow longer in veg and....hopefully control the room conditions as well. I am guessing these factors were the most detrimental to the grow.
Off to cry a tear in my beer..... Happy Fourth of JULY!!!!
 Bree
Loookin' good, Bree. Happy 4th. ;)
The Fog :rastasmoke:
I'm a smidgen late, but here we go! I harvested Cecilia last night, and she looked like the biggest one, but looks can be decieving they say. The pic isn't fair next to Bea, since Bea's pics were taken after a few days of drying. I really let the salts get to this plant, I think she could have even been bigger. I wonder if she'll surpass my magical 45g....lol. I've included a pic where my hemp had sliced almost completely through her....I think it's a wonder that this didn't hermie her, let alone kill her. As a note, she had 60 hours of darkness before being harvested.
[attachment=o146109][attachment=o146110]
The new crop is lookin fine after getting repotted. They got lst'd immediately because they are quite large already. The two on the end did not get lst'd til this morning since they were so droopy from being dry and potbound I think that I have spotted three females, but I'm not going to go tootin' my horn because it almost always seems my predictions are only somewhat right....ha ha ha. Still fun to guess.
[attachment=o146111][attachment=o146112]
The last pic I've included is of a spider flower (Cleome hasslerana) in bloom. The purple ones are dominant, but I do have a pink one about to open up. Sometimes they can even display a mixed genetic, half pink and half purple, here's to hopin I get one this year.[attachment=o146113]
Happy Growin' and Tokin'
 Bree
Those buds look great, Bree. :) Let us know how it smokes! :smokin: So, do you see any unusually high # of trichomes after the 60 hr dark period? :)
That spider flower looks cool. Damn, you have inspired me to post a new log. lolololololol. No but seriously, I will today. I feel I should look thru others' threads and respond first before I start mine. :)
The Fog :rastasmoke:
Great Looking Grow!
I just love those purple leaves, thats hot!
cant wait for the smoke report!
Rock.
Thanks Fog, The pink spider flower popped out yesterday...but as to your question no, I didn't see any new trichs, but the funny thing is there were new white hairs...but that could have been due the salt build up she was experiencing. I also had a lot of humidity and temp problems due to weather. Of course as soon as I moved the new crop up, temp has been great but the humidity has dropped down to 30 percent, lol. And I'm in veg obviously, ain't life a peach???? I'll pop in over on your log next...here's to hoping there is something new....!Quote:

The first plant and the third plant taste much better therefore...I can only ascertain that purple doesn't mean good- AT ALL, at least in my book. However this was bagseed so maybe the known purple strains are much better.Quote:
