Anyone in the Upstate NY area making it to SPAC tonight for the Allman Bros and Bobby?
I love listening to that Hampton Roads show, have it on cassette... I think they opened with a Foolish Heart that was INCREDIBLE.Quote:

It completely killed my mood when Soja started tuning up right as Phil was finishing what was one of the greatest Phil and Friends set I've ever heard.
Just curious are you going to see Phil and Friends and the Allman Bros. play in Charlotte in Oct?
I wouldn't miss the phil and friends/allman show for nothing!
Charlotte is a cruise for me so I won't make that show:(
Unfortunately if I did go it would be for the Almond Brothers. Since Derick Trucks joined this band every show has been a wonderful experience. Whenever you get Warren Haynes and Derick Trucks playing together your in for one hell of a good show!!!:) Also If you ever get the chance go see Warren Haynes band "Government Mule" WOW is all I can say after seeing him at All Good 2008. He played Led Zeppelin's No Quarter and it just gave me goosebumps:) Well worth it and is usually at small clubs.
