You can water your plants with molasses but they don't taste like molasses per se, they make their OWN organic/aromatic compounds... tasting like fruit or diesel or earthy or whatever that particular strain likes to produce naturally.
It's like when a bee drinks nectar, it is processed and changed into honey with its own distinctive flavor.
As for flavoring dried buds, I generally don't, because I like the flavor of earthy homegrown, but my one weakness is to add a couple strands of saffron to a nug jug... the warm, earthy saffron aroma really compliments the type of cannabis I prefer.
