nah they can't get anymore outta them... this last demand was something diffrent than just asking for the money... i forgot what they call it and all.. but basicly it was the insurance companies last chance to offer something the lawyers feel is fair...

psychological damage... my wife got hit by a car.

well she's not dead.... and pretty much back to normal now...

and i'm suprised i'm getting thta much our medical bills are near 100,000... and for her the most she'll get is 20,000...and she won't even be seeing a penny of it cuz the hosptial put a lein on it.

we don't hav einsuarnce, and we don't plan to pay the bills anyways...

our lawyers are trying to get the hosptial to accept the 20k and just call it even (i still owe alot in medical bills tho, from somthing unrelated) cuz the person had like liability or split limit coverage or some crap.. so even if my was killed, we'd still not see a penny over 20k on either claim... 20k is the absolute highest they go.

we don't get anythign on credit anyways.... if we don't have the cash to pay something, we don't get that thing... so we're not too concerned with the credit rating from not paying the bill... (it's fucked up that healthcare isn't free in the first place...)

I remember you telling us about that ages ago, damn it certainly takes a long time to get through courts.

no... she's the one that suffered of course... but this is my claim... besides she's going to be very well compensated outta the money anyways.. it's not like i'm saying "hahah this money is mine you don't get anything"

btw the psychological damage i speak of is real... even tho i would still see this as a way at free money... i really did suffer... i went back to smoking after being quit for 3 months... lost alot of my hair (it started falling out in clumps) i couldn't sleep even more, i was scared of being anywhere near a moving car... it really fucked with my head.

I tried making a case out of suffering mental damage when I got jumped some 9 years ago, but there was nothing I could as the people who did it were never caught. My depression went through the roof, and I developed a bad anxiety disorder after it happened. It got so bad that I had nervous breakdowns walking alone at night. I also suffered permanant nerve damage the right side of my nose and right side of my lip. I couldn't work for years either.

But, if there is no one to sue, you can't go too far. :p

yeah that sucks chowder, i've read your story before.. i feel bad for you... i know you aren't looking for pity or something, but i just can't help but feel sorry... that would be a horrible ass thing to have to go through...

not to mention my whole feeling on jumping to begin with... jumping is a pussy ass way to deal with things... people who participate in it are obviously scared little school girls :p

i mean if you can't take the dude you have a problem with, that don't mean round up 4 or 5 of your friends and beat the living hell out of him....

awhile back around here we a had a rash of a bunch of little punks going around and beating homeless people for no reason at all.... one even died from it... luckily, it was caught on tape and they were all tracked down and convicted... not sure of the exact charges they got, but now all of them have soem type of murder on their record... probably still sittin in prison too..
