im going to agree with america here, people lie about being sick to get out of things all the time. if it is a long time and trusted employee thats one thing, or if she hadnt called in sick a lot before it should be ok, which it is over here usually. my guess is they were really busy to have her come in, that is the most likely, next which is less likely cause she probly would hace mentioned it is that she has called in a lot recently, third her boss may just be a dick
I actually hardly ever call in sick. I probably call in sick less than any other person at my work.
They just are understaffed as always and too stupid and frugal to hire more employees so they just deal with getting screwed over all the time.
You comments about America are out of line. Maybe where you come from there are no checks and balances and employees are allowed free reign. Or maybe the management personel isn't really qualified to handle situations. Sounds like a great place.Quote:
