Look Look! two plants on 12/12 from birth

Well since this thread is getting traffic again, I'll update. I did repot them, but they still had a sad ending. I don't have everything ready room wise right now and it would have been a waste of light, so I stopped watering them. They are almost dry, I will smoke them when my lungs can handle it, lol I've been sick. Here is a pic, try not to weep!

Here are plants that were 40 days old... 4 outta 4 were females with my last grow which was last year.

Done properly, you only have to grow a batch about every 2-3 years to keep you up to your ears in personal stash killer smoke. Four really great plants will keep you stoned for 2 - 3 years.

Poor plants, those are under CFL's or HID lighting?

i vegged under 24 and got at first (when it was a bit cold) a buncha males, like 5 in a row, that was followed bya string of 13 females in a row. btw i was really cold at times in mid-vegging and the first week or so of flowering. this is when the males showed up. i also fertilized waaay too much in the beginning, b/c i thought my borrowed fert solution had already been diluted.. it hadn't (doh) anyways just my results for anyone who wants to interpret them.

15 watt HID i wonder if the HPS or MH would be better.. it would probably need a reverse ballast if am not mistaken i guess with the transformer and capacitor switched. anyways i think it must be a tiny cfl

yes they were under a 15w floro tube..then they went under a 400w HPS...lol...then I decided it wasn't worth all that trouble at the moment and let them dry out. Poor plants is right!!

just shows the differance a weeks veg can do these are mobays ak47 vegged for one week then straight 12/12 then yours bree exellent thread by the way.the postman.

I would rather start them off on a longer light schedule. Like 18/6. Seems to be the preferred photoperiod for vegging plants. When it's ready then I'd flower it. I have thought about starting plants off 12/12 from seed but it just doesn't seem logical to me. It needs light to grow and that's the purpose, for it to grow as much as possible before it's time for it to flower.

Good grow Bree1978, but I would have to agree with them to a degree. I can understand if you had height problems in your box or not enough space. Try to give them 2 weeks of Veg and see the difference!
