what does "dime" and "nickel" mean?

Yeah there really different all over, and it's not always that way, it depends on where you live and how good a dealer you have.

'Dime Bag' is a general term for $10 worth of weed.

Back in the day, a 1/4 Ounce (7 Grams) only cost $10.
An 1/8 ounce was $5, thus the terms, nickel bag and dime bag.

Well a dime coin is .10cents, and a nickel coin is .5cents, sooooo, a "dimebag" means $10 worth, and a "nickel bag" is $5 worth.

$5 worth is generally a joints worth, a standard size joint, so $10 worth would be double that.

That's how it was for back in the day us anyways, where you could actually buy bags that small.

a dime bag is something a dealer will sell u for $10 and a nickel is somthing a dealer will sell u for $5

anyways, how much herb people in you area deem acceptable for 5 or 10 is what a nick or dime is where you live, not everyone in the world is weighing shit out to slang. lol kind of funny growing up, what I call nick bags I get a handful of em for 5 dollars, so really they were like.. penny bags lol.. sigh, wonder what went through someones mind when they were like hey lets call a 60 dollar bag a nickle even though I can't see any reason to name it after a coin that is 5 cents. I know people who sell nickels and dimes of headies, you just don't get that much.

The most common thing is a dime is 10 bucks a nickle is 5 bucks, around here anyway
