Bridging the connection won't do what you want it to, and should be disabled if you want to use internet connection sharing.

Also, you will most likely need a crossover cable to connect the computer to the xbox. This is not typically not provided because ICS with a computer and no router/switch is fairly uncommon. You can purchase them at almost any store that sells ethernet cables.

you know waht i think ive just found out the cable i have is a "cat5. patch" but i need the crossother type right? look like i need to take a trip to maplins lol
