Good news, the whole point of small claims court is that you don't NEED a lawyer. It's a flat fee, like $40 I think in my county.
And if you file charges for destruction of property, the DA might decide to go ahead and pursue it and you would not need an attorney because you are not being charged with anything... but his psychotic ass sure will!!!

didn't realize that was the case! but then again, life is Kharma the bastard will get his eventually! why waste time in small claims court, especially if it doesn't end well, will just be a headache!

My ex did this exact same thing! Except add pictures and journals to the equation. :mad:

JOURNALS!!!!???? That IMO is the absolute WORST thing you can destroy... it's like part of your history just goes *poof*. That is fucking WRONG. One of the reasons I hid all my old journals in the walls of my house. No one needs to have access to those. Hey cute sunglasses BTW.

Memories can always be reflected apon without pictures or journals but that's not the point. My breakups have always gone pretty well, so far...
