advice on little brother

well... if it was my brother, that i cought doing anything worse then pot, i would first kick the persons ass that gave it to him, then i would kick his ass... then i would tell me dad to beat his ass... then my sister, then my mom... then i would throw his ass in rehab then after the intesive rehab...i would toss his ass in military school... then i would go back to the person that sold it to him, kick his ass agin... then after my bro got out of military school, i would make him go kick the guys ass that gave it to him...

when i was doing meth... and crack... i told all of the guys that i ever bought off of, that if i ever find out about my brother or sister over at there house buying anything other then a bag of pot, that i was gonna kill them... infact i told my best friend that i would kill him if he ever brought the shit around my sister...

If hes got the connect for that it shows hes hanging out with fucked up people doing fucked up things most of the time. Not to demonize but they are sketchy drugs.

When you have your chat dont come across as bossy or in control, or you'll just seem like big mean sister and he wont listen. Just have a spliff with him and see what he'll tell you about his personal life.

do you have a car or license or anything? or a tight group of good friends that might be impressionable on him? or how about a cool b/f or guy friend he can look up to.

have him around you more, talk to him, let him realize the group he is currantly with thats persuading him to get into harder drugs like that are a waste of time. sure its alot of energy but you would do it if you did in fact really care...

I'm against snitching, but comes a time you gotta drop the ball to your parents. 14 years old is too young to be fucking with heroin. Don't let this slip, this isn't a little pot. This is heroin, this is his life were talking about.

Iv seen some of my friends go down that road...we both smoked, he got into meth. Turned into a thief, stole from everyone. Then was homeless...then rehab. Next was prison...he did his time and is just finishing rehab. I got a call from him a few months ago, first one in years. Seems better now but threw away his entire life. Do what ever it takes...get him to be a complete pothead even, trade one vice for another. Most people can do that easier...Im scared my sister will do something like that one day...shes so easily influenced.

Now the problem that I was dealing with in my little brother was a bit different (and some 40 years ago), but the same method might work. Unless you have been very unobservant, you doubtless have "something on" your brother that you kept quiet about to the parents.

I'm worried about you, but I really respect how much you take upon yourself. It's not fair that these are the types of problems you have to face at your age. What ever you end up doing, don't let your brother forget that you love him, and you're worried about him because of how much you love him. Good luck

I did not read the whole thread I am only posting to You and what I skimed... I know a full blown Heroin addict,,,he is My only nephew or niece for that matter... I know why Dan is fucked up,dysfunctional family and afraid because he has not seen what should be done in life,No role model so to speak...

You need to be there for him as a teacher not as a rat... Get inside his head,find what his fears are,,, and make him know you are there always... explain in a way as not to threaten,threats only compound the injury if he is scared about his future...

this you and many will disagree,,,but find the scuzball selling to him and rat his ass to the wall!!! You gotta put him/her out!!!,,,if only to buy time...

Keep him busy with things he likes to do...
