I cough on vaporizor hits too when they are way big. I think coughing is half the fun and it helps me to get my blood circulating a little faster too. I know that my heart is usually going a million miles a minute after a good coughing fit and the faster it pumps the more blood flows to the brain.
I am usually laughing my ass off when I am coughing too because after all these years it is just as funny when I blow a hit as it was the 1st time in my friend Danny's garage attic back in 75. Until then I had only smoked joints & bowls.

And slipknot, i feel you on the whole charred lungs thing. It usually happens when you cough while you still have smoke in your lungs. That's the worst. For some reason every time I cough before I finish exhaling the smoke, I can taste the nasty part of the smoke in my throat and lungs for a few minutes and can't quit coughing. Then my face gets all warm feeling. Then bam, I'm fucking trashed and all is well again :dance:

I only take huge rips with my bong, any other time, I just fill my lungs until they are at a good comfort level.

I remember one time, I went to the studio after drinking two bottles of Vicks44 and smoking 2 blunts. We popped a 10 dollar .5 of haze into a 3 liter gravity bong, my boy made me clear the whole tube. The whole dime burnt up in the bong. I was coughing for a good 20 minutes, I thought my rib popped out of place I coughed so hard yo. Afterwards I was chilling and I felt like I was going to die all of a sudden because I got really hot. Than I just sprawled out in a big chair for like 5 minutes, and I was like... "iight I'm good." Took another rip.

I love 'watching' people take huge rips, but when it come to me, I choose not to. Of course, theres the looming question, "What qualifies as a huge bog rip?"

I can clear a tube and fill the room with smoke, but those rips that make you cough up a lung are fucking brutal! I'd rather enjoy the smoke, and flavour than let the ganj make a little bitch out of me, lol!

but, when you say "iight I'm good" then take another rip in spite of getting bent over, You gots my respect! ;)
