My vtek unit has arrived and is running. It makes the very slightest whirring sound that I can barely hear when I try. Until I rearrange my electrical in my grow room, it's running in an outer room on a setting of 1.

It smells nice and I'm sure I'll be able to tell a difference after it's been on for a while and I make my way in and out of my rooms throughout the day.

I should have mine today or tomorrow.

I could not smell my grow at all today unless I was right in the room and actually sniffing the plants, lol.

That's what I am talking about. That is why I started this thread, hope more people give it a try.

You could use an ozone generator,the small ones that mount on the wall.They neutralize odor's and convert to oxygen and co2.About 70 buck's outta pocket.2000 wat grow? That come to about a quarter bag.They don't just cover the smells! They go to the source and kill the odor.Seems to me smell is about your main concern.

I have herd more bad about ozones not working than anything else. Also, they are not recomended for use in close proximity to people in every day living quarters.

my house is sooo fukd up right now even w/ new carbon in the scrubber . we have hardwood floors -n- smell comes right thru em w/o any padding or carpet on em . i'm very very interested .

Well I can tell you that yes I have had it in my grow room for a couple of days now and it really works amazingly well.

Last week at this time I was closing all the doors and running my HEPA air filter for several hours a day in the grow room in a vain attempt to contain the smell (and I'm only starting week 2 of flowering).

Now I can leave the doors wide open and the most I smell is a slight whiff of the neutral scent (which is pleasant smelling).

You know one thing you can also do is buy the cartridge by itself for $50 or so and simply open it ad get a breeze blowing over the top. It'll be full strength, but you'll sure get an idea of how it neutralizes the odors.

They even sell a unit which is a cartridge in a wire stand that you can place right inside air ducts. But again, no adjustments and it'll use itself up faster.

Sorry to ramble on like that, but I definitely give it 2 thumbs up!:pimp:

All is good on my end. I have 14 in the flower room right now 5 diferemt strains and with the unit not even half way up it has nocked out the smell.
I think that it is a worthy investment.
