As for the THC being gone, well yeah, even when the flame isn't touching the bud the hot air probably vaporizes a lot of the THC (like a vaporizer!), but where do you think that's going? Straight into your mouth! I mean, if you're talking about sharing, yeah, maybe the first person will get more, but if you're passing like you should everyone gets a first light so it doesn't matter.

Thats actually wrong.
"THC boils at 392 degrees F. Thus if it is heated to 400 F the THC boils and produces a vapor."

You can be a dick and correct someones sentences, but don't try to talk about facts unless you know them.

First off I said "probably" because I was unsure. Wikipedia disagrees with you, saying 155-157 degrees (celsius of course) which is ~370 F I think. Second off, I know I'm bein' a dick, but people who can't bother to correct their fuckin' sentences is a pet pieve. I don't care if you don't capitalize, or use apostrophes, but the sentence needs a decent structure and moderately correct spelling or I want to kill somebody :)

Anyways, I'm 100% sure that having the lighter above is causing heat enough to vaporize the THC, even the THC on the bud that isnt burning (probably not all of it, but definetly some of it), and I dunno how hot a smoldering bowl is, it might not be enough to vaporize THC but I can't say for sure.

As a volcano owner and big time fan of vaping I can fairly confidently say 200 degrees celcius is all that is required to vape thc. Does the trick for me :)

So basically 430 F - I'm guessing here. But that's hot air - constant.

A lighter flame would be different so who knows ;)

Okay, you ignore that and I'll ignore your feeble attempt to strengthen your argument by picking at minute gramatical errors over the internet. However, I will focus on your inability to comprehend the discussion of the thread though, as we ARE talking about what is more effective when it comes to group smoking. A lot of times when I end up smoking at a party, usually only like one or two people will have bud. Of course everyone else "always has bud but just smoked it all this morning."

But I usually bring a decent amount of weed when I go to social events and having a lot of friends and being a social (as well as nice) guy, I usually toke everyone up and remind them all that I will one day need a favor and they had better atleast try to remember. :D

thats why i love hookas, everyone gets greens, ours has 2 hoses, and its so we just inhale till you cant get no more, then take turns clearing it out. plus smoking pot is supose to bring people togeather, not to proove that your a stingy basturd, so pack a bowl and pass that shit around.

Alright first of, a "~" mean "roughly" or "something like". I don't give people shit about grammar unless I honestly have no idea what they are trying to say. I couldn't figure that dudes post out, and that's just too much for me. I wasn't trying to strengthen my arguement, plenty of my friends are just as smart or smarter than me and "dey typ lik dis", it just bothers me a whole lot.
