Buy some compact fluorescent lights (the little spiral ones). If you can find the 42 watt (150 watt incandescent replacement) get about 2 or 3 of them. Put them about 2 inches away from the plant. Regular lights just put out heat, not light in the right spectrum. CFL's man, look at BobBong's CFL grow http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=61768Quote:

1-2 per plant is perfect when they're small, we had only 1 per plant (5 plants) and ours were kicking ass. Trick is keeping them damn close to the leaves. Unless the leaf actually touches the light, it will not get hurt. If you go to a hardware store, find some shop lights. They look like an extension cord with a light socket (with a round reflector :D ) on the end. They usually have a clamp too. Keeps you from needing to wire stuff, plus the clamp makes for easy placement (look at the pics I posted in the grow log in my sig) We took the reflectors off because it lets light spread out more so all lights cast light on all plants instead of 1 light per plant, and hung them from chains to make moving them up and down easy.Quote:

Also, find a cheap oscilating fan. Outdoors air moves plants which causes the stems to thicken up. Inside there is no wind, so you'll get weak stems. Weak stems = weak buds. Wait til your plants have 3-4 sets of leaves before putting one on. Keep us posted :rasta:
