Chillums

I thought it was just like cigarette.
You pack it in then you light it and it keeps a light like a joint then you smoke it.

If any of you ever went to Jamaica you'd all get laughed at.

yea u guys theres a difference between chillums and bats. a real chillum is a ceramonial piece, cone shaped. where you pack smoking herbs (weed hash baco whatever) then smoke holding it in ur hands like someone else said without actually touching ur mouth to it.

a bad is like what some dude said. looks like a chillum but u smoke it like a joint.

You arent too far off but allow me to elaborate since my group of friends and I are all avid chillum/pinch users. Chillums can come in any shape or size not just cone shaped altho mine happens to be a perfect straight line about 4 inches with a diameter of about .5 inches. The indent at the opposite end of the mouthpiece is where you pack the weed/hash whatever your pleasure. Usually you throw a screen in there (more resin sticks to the screen, I've found) Anyway you light it once and the idea is it stays lit so you can puff puff pass til that shit is ash. The chamber the smoke passes through can either be narrow or wide depending on who created the particular unit you are using. Pinches are unique that's what makes them so nice. They're very portable and easily hideable.

Bats on the other hand are skinny little pieces no longer than 2 inches and no wider than .1 inches. Some of them are made to look like cigarettes but the difference is you get max 5 hits out of them depending on how much weed you cram in there. Bats, unlike pinches, do not stay lit which makes you question why anyone would believe that its actually a cigarette. They are highly ineffective however they can be transported with mad ninja skillz so no one will notice and theyre easy to smoke on the street at night with.

ive got one of the cig shaped one, but no way can it hold 5 hits. one max, maybe 1.5. it works great, just don't get a metal one, mine is quartz and it isn't ineffective, it conserves great but i wouldn't use it to get blown, but when smokin alone it's good

Rules of the Chillum.

1) The one who packs the chillum is not the one who lights the chillum.

2) Your mouth may NEVER touch the chillum

3) Always pass the chillum to the right.

4) The mouth piece of the chillum is cupped between two hands forming a closed prism so that the smoker may inhale the smoke without touching the chillum with his lips.

5) A match is struck by a second party

6)The smoker must puff violently to ignite the chillum adequately

7) The chillum must be cleaned after every bowl.
