Chavez - UN?

...okay. You guys are making it seem like Hugo Chavez is some pushover who just talks shit on the US. Im sure you would be doing the same thing if you were democratically elected and the American CIA planned a Cou de etat just to oust you from power. You guys watch too much fox news channel or have little or no education straight up. He has a different view on social and economic strategies. Latin america has always been raped by imperalistic countries that are taken advantage of by "1st world" countries. Hes not a puppet like so many other PMs or presidents

I don't disagree with all his views, or minimize the century old plight of Latin America over western imperialism. But his antics are self defeating. They make for good entertainment, but he'll gain little or no support outside the Banana Republic if he continues to make the U.S. his enemy....

he's passed laws in his country that will jail a person for 6 months for opposing presidential policies, even bush hasn't gone that far

I was wondering the same thing, I got banned for slightly verbally attacking Bong30, when in reality i only repeated what he said to me.

But ya Bong30 is only watching Fox News and is reading the Main HEADLINE "CHAVEZ CALLS BUSH THE DEVIL!" or "IS CHAVEZ OUT OF HIS MIND?"

IF you actually listened to his speech it was very truthful and he doesn't hate americans he hates the american government. he has a home in Harlem, New York.
He is also selling cheaper oil to over 200 000 new yorkers that are below the poverty line.

It amazes me that people who insult George Bush for his inarticulate way with words surpass him in knowing LESS about international politics than he does.

George Bush is the WORST communicator of all time. But that doesn't by any streatch of the imagination mean he's wrong when it comes to islamic jihadists. If you honestly are under the impression that islamic terrorism is not a global threat, that it is fabricated, that they really don't hate your values and what you see as freedom, you are living the polar opposite of George Bush's 1-dimensional approach to world politics, and equally do us all the same amount of service.
