How many people in the past do you think have said this: "we are in the last generation before this happens." Honestly. Then these people die and more people believe they're going to experience some huge divine experience.
Tell me about your personal experiences Budman, don't just recite the bible, please.

Personnal experience...well i have had that too, but the big thing that started me into this deep study was this..
My mom had cancer she was a ten year survivor. after 10 years her cancer came back and she was on deaths bed.. I was beginning to start to get back into seeking God before I had found out about this...It was a holiday weekend and i had just built this little prayer chapel for myself in the woods behind my house no reason just felt compelled to do this...I finished it up on sunday and went to my parents on monday..My mom was in bed and not well at all. When I was leaving my dad told us the cancer was back and it was bad....I went home i needed that little place to pray...anyway i went out there and bal;led my eyes out for hours i told God if he would give my mom more time i would give my life to learning about him and sharing him with others...the next day i went to moms and she was up and feeling well. she said she woke in the middle of the night and felt a sensation in her bed as she slept she got up and nothing was there went back to bed and woke up feeling great...She went into 100 % remission over nite...docs had notthing to say or explain it...anyway i started to study with her she had the best year of her life and learned and gained faith in God..1 year later the cancer came back and my mom diesd in complete peace she kept seeing people before she died people that had already died her mom and dad..she would ask did you see that??? She woke up at nite looked at my dad and said i have to go home now ill see you again closed her eyes and passed on.. since then ive been studying alot trew out tons of my own opinions and stick only to Gods word...very hard thing to do in this worlds now a days but its what i believe in and so many other things then just the bible prove God exist ..I wont trust any man only God at this point....
Why does God never heal amputees? Why is it always things which are known to sometimes just go away on their own?
He will in the millenium all people will be without sickness and there bodies will be spiritual wont age wont get sick anybody that suffers loss like that will regain there limbs. I have lost 3 fingers in an accident so i know how it feels a little, I wonder why sometimes too but ive learned that im still me and ill get my fingers back ...even if he did would you believe then???

Budman, I'm sorry to hear about your loss but, believe it or not, I'm happy to hear that you've gained a strong faith from it. Ordinarily in reading of your story I might shrug it off and claim it was all conincidence. I'm trying to stay away from that sort of thinking cause I know it's ignorant.
However it's still not proof enough for me to believe in the same things that you do. For all I know your perception of the entire experience (from chapel to the passing of your mother) could be biased or inaccurate in some way.
Again, I'll just end this (as I'm about to crash) by saying that truth is relative and is shaped by each individual's own perception of a situation (and perception in turn is shaped by experience). Thus it makes sense that I, living without experiencing such as you have, would percieve the world, including religion, differently from you.

Not really God is coming back to cleanse this world..when He does there will be many people that are weeping and nashing, before that happens Satan comes in Gods name claiming to love everyone and brings a false peace to the world.
That's a good observation. Again, another reason why I don't believe in God. It seems to me that this is similar in vain to the idea that I can't prove that God doesn't exist but you can't prove that He does. It's like truth by default. Or a backwards lottery.Quote:

You've never proved God didnt exist..Theres a story in the new testament about 2 guys one beliebves in god and is poor the other doesnt and is a rich man...when they both die the poor one is with God the other is seperated from God but still in heaven. He ask God to let him go back to earth to warn his family that he was wrong God says if they dont believe my word not even a dead man rising will change there minds....
