Are you kidding? What a rediculous assumption! The flame from a lighter can be upwards of thousands of degrees fahrenheit! people rarely cook things in foil above 350-375F.

Go ahead and stick to your microwave burritos and aluminum pipes.

i think tin foil is safe, but what about using like a can or plastic? i heard that the chemicals in the paint on the can burn and u smoke them, and i heard that u burn the plastic when u smoke out of a bottle. can anyone clarify this plz?

Personally I hate tinfoil, every time i smoked out of it (recently not when i first started) i gag, and it hurts my throat pretty bad. I have a lot of ratchets now so i use grav craps on empty plastic bottles with a small hole at the bottom. Becasue my parents smashed my glass :(

in my earlier, poorer days i would use it, but now i have some pipes and a budy has a bowl so its all good.

thats bs, you CAN melt aluminum foil with a butane lighter....ive done it before

me n' a buddy used to use foil in a 2 liter and take massive hits, and never had any bad taste or throat-hurting. I loved it. Obviously I prefer my pipe/bong over foil, but it gets the job done.

smoking is bad for you. the carbon that sticks to your lungs should be your biggest problem, not any microscopic traces of aluminum that are vaporized from the lighter.

You probably get more aluminum from your drinking water and kitchen utensils than you would ever get from an aluminum bowl. If you're really that worried about light metals, you should probably invest in a water purifier.

Besides, with the shit going on right now in my life, I'd rather have alzheimer's disease when i'm 60 so i don't remember it. I'll probably be toking more often when i'm a senior than i do now, anyway.
