A lot of little stress is harder to deal with than big stress. Whereas you're forced to deal with big stress by the situation, little stress usually compounds without you knowing it. That's why people get more upset when a whole bunch of little things go wrong than when something huge goes wrong.
In the end, don't sweat the small stuff. Every time you worry about little problems, you're slowly killing yourself. If you can learn to write off the small, annoying problems, you'll be healthier and live longer, too.
