This is a good thread. I like it when it is sunny but not hot or

I love a good crazy thunderstorm at bedtime. Otherwise, I like it to b sunny, 80 degrees and no humidity, I'm already missing summer.:(
Okay, ummm when I first posted in this thread I was so...SO baked that I didn't really understand what the hell Orange was saying, lol!
Now I get it!!
My favorite type of atmosphere is the atmosphere just when it is about to storm! It gets really dark, and the wind starts to die down JUST before it starts to gust, the sun is completely covered and it's almost night you can still see specks of light where the sun is trying to fight through, but can't.
I've always been a pessimist, so I like cold, grey, and dead when it comes to my atmosphere.
That's why I want to move to Alaska or the far north. Just somewhere isolated, away from almost every bit of society that's really cold.
i love in the evening when the suns about to set, love in the morning at dawn when there'sfog everywhere, love it at night when it's foggy but there's a full moon, and i love overcast days with a little bit of rain. right now in the season's good too with the grey clouds, kinda cool temperature and just the general feeling of fall.
When reading all of these posts, I get a tightening sensation in my gut, a rush of joy, anticipation. What is it about such things that makes us feel this way? Fills us with inspiration..
If I was to really narrow it down: Fall, friday evenings. All the possibilities mentioned above. And SoCal Winter and Early Spring, when it rains and rains and then stops... and the air is fresh and inviting... the clouds part slightly to create dramatic beauty...
Late Autumn to early Winter. When everything is cold, and everything's dead.
Lol I dont really like winter. I just hate when the snow gets in my shoes or boots and it's all wet and I have a cold :(.
Right now. Its sunny out but its not hot at all. Its really cool and nice.
Falls coming! yay
I used to love thunderstorms, but had an icky experience camping once. Me and like 30 others get together now and then for 2 days of camping. Well, I rode my motorcycle down once. A thunderstorm came up, and it was huge, lightning everywhere, booming thunder, raging rain.
So, everyone decides, screw this camping plan, this SUCKS, so they start piling into their cars. Me, I had taken some acid, and I was tripping balls, and didn't think it seemed very safe to ride my motorcycle through a raging thunderstorm while tripping my ass off (the lightning kept etching itself across my eyeballs). My friends all offered to take me back with them, but then I'd be leaving my nice, fairly new motocrycle sitting in the middle of a field 60 miles away from pretty much anywhere. I couldn't do it, so I stayed alone in that dark field quietly tripping and occasionally going 'oooo' or 'ahhh' at the bigger lightning strikes, enduring the pouring rain until morning, then drove back soaking wet and freezing and exhausted.
I still give my friends shit for leaving me out in that field that night! (But to be fair, they did offer me a ride out of there.)
So now, I like nice, pleasant weather. Sunshine, comfortable temperatures, not too much humidity or lack of it, something good to drink, and some munchies. I'm like a pot plant now! ;)
