Pink Floyd is without doubt my favorite band. Best 2 songs to get completly lost in stoned: Speak to me/breathe and comfortably numb. And also shine on yur crazy diamond...and time..god i love pink floyd

Syd Barrett is real good, but post-Barrett Floyd is a little monotonous. They lack a real good songwriter, try playing a Pink Floyd album on just acoustic guitar, it sucks (unless somebody has a vacuum cleaner they can turn on during Welcome To The Machine, at about six minutes and forty seconds).


People like Alan Parsons deserve a lot of credit for bringing Floydâ??s music to the level it got. Floyd was more production and arrangement then songwriting, thereâ??s nothing wrong with this, its just the way it is.

Anybody going to see Roger Waters in August? He is playing Nissan Pavilion in DC area.
